Sounds like the bin dippers are gonna have a much stronger team than us. Klopp giving his usual 'we will see' response when talking about individuals... in other words they will definitely play

Really don't want to go out of this competition to these wankers without giving ourselves a fighting chance.. especially as it will set the tone for a very difficult month coming up

After that email which was sent out the atmosphere is going to be even more toxic than what it was going to be

People don't like being lectured to or told to behave, even if they were never going to misbehave in the first place, if that makes sense? This is compounded by the almost constant attacks that club and fans have visited upon us with no consequences for their actions. It's like telling a bullied kid, "Look we know what the bully keeps doing to you is wrong, but by being the better person and letting them keep hurting you and not retaliating they'll see it's wrong and stop." They won't. I can't write what I'd really hope happens on Thursday or I'll be thread banned lol.

Obviously not familiar with current matters at training pitch, but regarding other circumstances I would go with:

Ortega: its a cup and he more than deserved these games,
Lewis/Cancelo: its a cup and Walker played much enough at world cup, evidently was rushed back from injury, better to be catious with him. On the other hand Cancelo play similar minutes to Walker, but was dropped at some point and needs to regain his confidence, especially since recent games for City werent his best,

Akanji: simply because played one game less than Stones and Dias during WC,

Laporte: simply because played one game less than Stones and Dias during WC,

Gomez/Cancelo: its a cup, but above-mentioned argument for Cancelo stays

Philips: its a cup, he needs to get minutes, maybe Rodri should rest a bit more, on the other hand its against generally well rested LFC after all, so would not be surprised with Rodri,

Gundogan: he needs to play to regain confidence after early exit from WC,

De Bruyne: I am sure hes going to play, similar case to Gundogan,

Mahrez, Haaland: even more sure they re going to play for obvious reasons,

Last spot looks like between Grealish/Silva/Palmer and I would go with Grealish - Silva played much enough during WC to prolonge softly his return and Palmer was not at his best against Girona, so against LFC it shall prevailed a spot for Jack.

Would really like to see Phillips/Grealish start in this they didn't play too many mins at WC so would be ideal.

How many tickets left btw?
