We assume that we need 5 or 6 goals, or are going out of the competition.

Can we score 5 or 6 v Liverpool ? Absolutely. Can we keep them out if we try to keep it tight ? Well we had every player back, when Utd scored all 3.

Bury the ****s, or go out trying.
 
If we take our chances, which we didn’t do on Saturday, I could see us winning by a 4 goal margin easily.

If we are in enough control and dominant enough to score 5, I don't see them scoring more than 1.

I don't see this ending 1-0, 2-0 or 5-2, 6-3 etc, either we go out an hammer them to almost no reply, or it's pretty even and we go out by a big margin.

You are probably right.

And imo the only way to achieve that, is to go out looking for 5 or 6 goals.

If Liverpool don't come out & score, the vey second we decide that we are playing for extra time at 3-3, is the moment Otamendi falls over. Guaranteed.
 
Possibly a good/bad thing, ref in charge has given 3 penalties in our last 2 games with him, just that all three have been against us!
 
If we go 1-0, 2-0 up even before the 80th minute it's game on, We would still have 10-15 minutes to get another.
I can see Liverpool scoring though with the way we've being defending the last two games, Having said that I think we're more than capable of putting five past them.
It's a strange one this, It could end up being anything with the way both sides play football.
Anybody know if Salah is out of this one?
 
Coach incident swept under the carpet and now UEFA want to make sure we are burried. Pep will soon come to realise the truth about the utterly corrupt nature of UEFA.
 
Anyone know if it’s possible to get a refund on a ticket this late?

I have a spare but can’t sell on here as no thread so wondering if possible to get refund this late?
 
If we can keep the ball then we have a chance, albeit a small one imo.
Defensively we've been a shambles the last 2 games and we need to keep the ball and thus lessen the pressure on our defence.
We all know we're capable of beating them well if we play like we did earlier in the season but i do wonder if we've been found out a little bit and it's a bigger problem than just two bad performances in a row.
