hopefull ,but Im a pragmatist. we've come along way this year ,grateful to win the premiership.....again, league cup too, Im expecting nothing, maybe the right frame of mind to have, whats the latest on Mendy..? will sure be nice to see him again,if only for the last 2 or 3 games

Bear with me here - I've followed the Red Sox since going to Fenway when I spent a while living in Boston during the eighties - it pains me greatly that Fenway Sports group now own the scousers BTW - anyway today the Red Sox had an unbelievable comeback win from being down 7-2 they scored 6 runs in the bottom of the eighth to win it and remain top of the division. An omen perhaps for Tuesday? it can be done, believe my fellow blues.

They did what in the where now?

Ha ha ha- simply put they won a game coming back from a really bad position - most unexpected - just like we are going to do on Tuesday.
Similar to the Red Sox coming back against the Yankees some years back? Remember a film about it I watched years ago. I wish I had your optimism for Tuesday my friend,I just can’t see it. I will be kicking every single ball though![/QUOTE]

I think we need a cushty 1st half red card for Liverpool, couple of injuries as well, and some epic finishing on our part to stand a chance of going through. Scousers will probably sit back anyway and score ome goal from their only shot on target. So if any one team can be part of something mind boggling it's our lot. Just look at the derby. Arguably 5 players short of a 1st team, we completely roasted them first half, so a repeat of that for 90+ minutes might be enough. It's not over.
