“I remember what happened last year,” said Guardiola. “It was 1-1 at home to Monaco when there was a clear penalty on Sergio and what should have been a red card, but the referee didn’t give it”. That was Spaniard Antonio Mateu Lahoz who gave a penalty to Monaco and also, this season, gave two to Napoli. Guess who the referee is tomorrow??
Just like the league,we get refs that will fuck us over in Europe as well..

I think we’re out . Uefa’s special agent is in charge.

Let's go for the fucking thing.

Eddy

Walker vinny otto

Sterling kdb dinho Silva mendy

Kun Sané

Sterling has to start this one. The Anfield crowd seems to get to him so leaving him out of the away leg was understandable. Despite missing them chances on Saturday, we need pace and to go at them from the off. He missed an even worse sitter from 6 yards and an open net let's not forget and then bounced back to score from a similar position. One thing he can't be knocked for though is getting into the positions and 20+ goals this season. Get behind the lads...Sterling included! COME ON CITY!

I hate to even mention the GPC but if that referee had been selected to ref one of their games after such an inept display in a previous game don’t you think he would have publicly objected?
Why is it at City we just keep taking the hits without protest? Why not openly complain about that thug Ashley tackle on Saturday?
Whilst I would never want to lower ourselves to the levels of Mourinho or Ferguson, it is clear that being “good sports” is not getting us anywhere with the FA/UEFA/officials. Maybe it’s time we went on an offensive of some sort and start drawing more attention to the horrendous injustices we routinely come up against.

They would shit themselves if they saw Mendy on the team sheet.
I want us so much to give a world class performance, if we don’t go through, then so be it. 100% balls out until he blows the final whistle. We have it in us, take the chances and keep it tight at the back. If we are 2 - 0 up by halftime, it WILL be a different outcome from the rags. We can’t make the same mistake twice!

You can also just sit in his seat when he's not at the game! Cushion comfort AND a week in Benidorm!!
I never miss a game at home, I've been to Benidorm (love the Old Town), but never at the expense of City, not sure why you felt the need to post a sarcastic comment, strange.

I just want an all out balls to the wall performance. No remorse in front of goal.

Even if it ends 8-7 I will be happy.

Out in a blaze of glory.

It's going to be a very special night I'm so looking forward to it.we will turn this round if our crowd are up for it till the end ..of that I'm sure. Get behind the boys in blue. We will do this.

Yep, just getting my voice back from Sat, first half in SS3 was best for a while. Been on the their forums and they reckon theyre gonna have thousands in our end......muppets

I think they’d try and sit back and see if they can hold us off or be in two minds whether to go for it or sit on thier lead ... they (and their current manager as well) are poor at game management if anyone has noticed so I think in all this start-stop start by them we will score two quickly ... then get hold of the game and control it and add a third just before half time ... that’d equal the tie 3-3 and then second half will be a shootout ... we will simply have to score one more than them ... and if we have scored 3 in the first half, no reason why we won’t have the belief to score another 3 in the second if needed ...

I think Pep should prepare the team (and all of us should be mentally prepared for this as well) that we need to score 5-6 goals tomorrow ... get 2-3 in first half and that will be great help but if we go with that frame of mind (at least that’s how I’m going that we need 5-6 and WILL be scoring that many, as we have many times this season already) then their goal or two whenever it comes won’t and shouldn’t dampen us and we should continue to get behind the team ... the players too should not bother if they get a goal and just have their own goal in their minds (of scoring 5-6) and keep going ...

The only thing I’m worried about is our fans starting to sigh and ooohs and aaahs loudly if and when they score one goal ... I’m afraid that we’d give up at that point and that energy can transfer on to players in the stadium ... already lots here don’t believe that we can do it ... stay at home if you think we can’t score 5-6 tomorrow ... I’d rather have those empty seats around me than those moaning and sighing and groaning loudly at every missed chance of ours or if dippers score ...

C’mon City ...
Let’s. Do. This. !!!

Playing our best team and winning the derby and they wouldn't be mentally damaged, they would be on a huge high and take it into this game,as it is we have zero chance of going through
And Pep didn't help their morale with his comment on ESPN "Liverpool will feel confident after our Derby defeat"
