Liverpool (H) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Was about to post something similar, was brought in to replace a genuine legend in Ian Rush and shown the door when they brought Rush back from Juventus.
If he thinks he's a Dipper legend he's as deluded as the rest of the vile cult members who follow that shitstain of a club.
Stephen Warnock is another Dipper football legend apparently some sort of football expert , he played 40 games for the Dippers and hardly played top flight football again, he was loaned out to half a dozen clubs because no one wanted him on a contract ,and yet he' gets a contract on Sky for spouting his myopic wisdom, if youve played a couple of games for the Dippers then you have got a job for life in the media , no matter how shite you were at actually playing the game.

Did anyone hear the old fan on 606 last night? I think he was a Liverpool fan and all he went on about was City cheating and all the charges. To be fair to Chris Sutton he tried to steer the conversation away correcting him with the words “allegations”, but the bitter old fool just doubled down. A lot of people are going to have an awful shock when we are found innocent.

He was on a zoom call without his (Joe90 intelligence) glasses the other week, he must have forgot or didn’t have some MOTD director telling him to wear them so people will think he is more intelligent than he is! Can’t wait for the next BBC pay report to see how much they have decided Rooney is worth (it’s a saving though as not paying Gary); hopefully it’s his PR team selling another story as I wouldn’t pay him 800,000 TRY

IIRC after we were cleared by CAS he said he still thought we were guilty amd was told to cease and desist.
As thick as he is biased yet still given a platform to spout his deluded Dipper drivel.
The media is infested with Red shirt shills but there seem to be a bigger proportion of Dipper shills.

Looking at a Liverpool forum, apparently a lot of them didn't bother to watch it anyway, excuses ranges from I had a work thing on, I just couldn't be bothered, I went to the tip! and I needed to do some shopping...you just know they all watched it and they are really suffering, great times!
Aka signing on at the Jobcentre.

When I'm bored i go onto the comments on YouTube about us.
We are cheats this, cheat that, dirty oil money etc.
When i respond with 'cheats i missed the announcement' or 'what are the charges' or 'your money laundering bank'. They dont normally respond lol

I've just rewatched the highlights.

Can someone please explain why the foul on Cherki inside the Liverpool penalty area wasn't a penalty, but the Nunes challenge where Nunes actually got a toe on the ball with minimal contact on their player was a penalty (and yes I know contact on the ball doesn't mean much these days)???

Olivar nearly swallowed his whistle when he blew for their pen.
From another angle, it might look like Cherki had gone to kick the defender's leg, but it's clearly a swipe by the defender once Cherki had change direction.

Did they ever show an angle from behind the goal to see if Nunes did get a touch on the ball before any contact between the players?

Watching the game again, the pleasing thing was that we could do all the usual back and forth pass pass pass but we were also doing the shark bit.

We might still need something special against park the bus defences (Arsenal when they come here!) but let's hope we've got past that turgid spell when we dropped points to "tough opponents".

It definitely looked like he got a touch from the angles I saw.
