Liverpool (H) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Bothered me as well that. Not like Phil at all.
We talked about this as we were in the North stand and watched him circle the pitch on his own whilst the teams were still talking to each other. He then left the pitch before the other City players on his own. We thought at the time media duties or an injury treatment planned?

Alcoholic Aldridge crying like a bitch today. Beaten off a "mediocre Man City team" apparently.
I bet he was sat on a pile of sick in his piss stained Y fronts with 46 empty bottles of white lightening scattered around him, trying to eat a tin of Aldi spaghetti hoops with a bic razor straight out of the tin. The man's a fucking jibbering nuisance.

Was it Five Live or Talkshite after the game where they thought it was the few Liverpool fans remaining who were singing about Steve Gerrard?
Will never beat Newport fans singing “Antony’s the greatest!” Oh wait a minute!

two of their biggest problems this season for that lot are van dik and salah
Yes, those two set the standard for them.
They probably would have got in any Premier League select eleven, for a couple of seasons.
Both have fallen off a cliff and nobody looks like stepping up to take their places ?
As previously mentioned, both the LFC full backs were very important to them, under Klopp.
Under Slot, the full backs are nowhere near as influential.
Not sure who plays in midfield for them apart from the Hungarian with a long name ?
Even with a new manager, cannot see them challenging for a title tilt, next season...

Looking at a Liverpool forum, apparently a lot of them didn't bother to watch it anyway, excuses ranges from I had a work thing on, I just couldn't be bothered, I went to the tip! and I needed to do some shopping...you just know they all watched it and they are really suffering, great times!

And here's me thinking we beat the dips because we were the better team.
It turns out I was wrong, van Dyke has said it was because the dips gave up.

Well thats what often happens when you are vring dominated by a far better team and they score a 3rd goal.

Ive read various reports online, none give us any praise, it's all about how poor the dips were.

Given the age of most of the team, I think this one will evolve into the best yet, there are still a few tweeks that will happen, but squad wise I think it's potential is huge, and I said this about October.
& when the team start to find Phil Foden when he makes his runs and get on his very clever mindset we will be even better.

Watching the game for the first time now. Liverpool played quite well tbh for most of thefirst half. And we lacked cohesion or something.
once we scored our confidence went through the roof wtf. night to day.
We should have had a pen after 16 mins!
Doku has been annoying, not got enough strength, or final pass.
Bernardo has been a terrier. Khusanov a rottweiler.
And haaland's header has been so underrated

I've just rewatched the highlights.

Can someone please explain why the foul on Cherki inside the Liverpool penalty area wasn't a penalty, but the Nunes challenge where Nunes actually got a toe on the ball with minimal contact on their player was a penalty (and yes I know contact on the ball doesn't mean much these days)???

Olivar nearly swallowed his whistle when he blew for their pen.
