Liverpool (H) - FA Cup | Post Match Thread

Trafford is going to be one of our biggest challenges this summer. He absolutely needs to be kept but Donna is still young in goalkeeper terms. It’s going to be tough to keep them both happy.
Agree. If we win the FA cup and he goes to the World Cup you’d hope that would go some way to giving us another season and see where we’re at.

We were just great today, we wanted it more than Liverpool and the scary part of it was that City had more levels in the bank. We are getting close to the new team having a solid spine in the team, Big shout to Trafford and that pen save and the rest of the good work (outstanding)

We were marginally second best until the goal, they seemed a bit more up for it, getting to second balls more than us and found it easier to create openings whilst we leaned too hard on the give it to Doku plan when he was tightly double marked and all the space was on the opposite flank.

As soon as we got the opener, we took full control and only ever going to be one winner from there. Probably wasn't really a 4-0 game in complete honesty, we took our chances for once, they massively failed to take theirs and they surprisingly collapsed, I haven't seen that from a dippers side for a long time, slot sadly won't last long there. i've seen us play much better than that against these and lose.

Brilliant result, fantastic to silence 7k dippers most of whom left after the 4th went in, something they have history of doing, best fans my arse. Weird how many Iranian flags I saw in their away end. Dream scenario now is arsenal get beat tonight we get and beat chelsea in the semi final and have a relatively simply final to secure a nice cup double. If Arsenal win tonight as expected, I want them in the semi final, much better time to play them around crucial CL games and if we lost, it's easier to take than a final.
