Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I would suggest that two of those instances resulted from a proper application of the LotG. Doku was tripped by the goalkeeper, and a blind, drunk and semi-comatose man would have spotted that on the pitch. Robertson was offside and didn't afford Don Corlerumma a view of it, and did anyone look more sheepish than Robertson when the ball went in. And isn't it about time we had a deflection. That was rub of the green alright but doesn't it feel even better when it nicks off Virgil. He had a game to forget, but Nathan can buy him a plate of poffertjes to cheer him up.
Last year the Egyptian Tom Daley scored at the North Stand end via a deflection as did Martinelli via Ake a couple of seasons back, they happen but only mentioned by the brainless pundits when we get one.
Although Murphy is a scouse fan at least he does offer some balance and logic, Rooney is just embarrasingly incoherent.

Watched the highlights again. Can’t believe how much Salah has dropped off. Hardly looks interested, and doesn’t at all when they lose the ball. A few years ago his running down that right hand channel would have been the stuff of nightmares for us. Yesterday he was offside nearly every time he was put through down there, and when he wasn’t, Nico O’Reilly had him in his pocket. Couldn’t believe the number of times Nico went over to challenge him and made it look like he had some sort of ball magnets on his toes - almost effortlessly relieving Salah of the ball every time. That one late on where Nico had been down with cramp a few moments before, then managed to get up, get back and nonchalantly poke the ball away from Salah near the corner was magnificent.

They have been found out big time, and it’s wonderful.

Yep just wait for the links for 100m from Saudi team in the next few weeks! He ain’t worth 50m he is about Mahrez fee we got 25m

Yeah reminds me of the away performance at Chelsea 1-0. Statement.
Spot on. It had that feeeeeel about it, although I was extremely stressed, but when I think back I recall watching that Chelsea game in our old house, can see myself being very agitated like yesterday, and didn't hardly dare breathe until the final whistle both games. And yesterday we managed without our much loved and missed KDB.

We just do with beating them at Klanfield or at least come away with a draw.

True! But assembling one good side is something a few managers have accomplished. Being able to rebuild and repeat those feats is something only Fergie has achieved
Haha, this is about the 3rd rebuild Pep has made, this probably the biggest, I think you need to check the ages of some of these players.

A STATEMENT performance, A notice of intent for the future, the top dog has a new set of teeth.
Call it what you like, Manchester City and Pep are hungry again

I’m loving the dipper press and the dipper fans raging that Kavanagh is from Manchester.

The guy has so many rumours he’s a Liverpool fan swirling around him and a blind man could have given that penalty on pitch.

More fool the FA for putting him in charge.
Also officially he’s a Droylesden fan… just like how Taylor is an Altrincham fan.
I know him very well having assessed him in his early years ,he is most definitely NOT a Man City /Utd or Liverpool fan .A non league team is his favoured side .Give the guy a break please

I just like outing non city fans on a city forum.
Quite simple really.
Thanks for eventually biting, job done.

So, I'll ask you face to face or keyboard to keyboard, who do you support and why don't you post when we win?
Fuckin state of you on the villa thread when we lost, you had your cock out all game and post match.

Crank.
He/she chose the username "Hendo" and takes great delight in City losing. Don't need to be Poirot to work this one out!
