Liverpool (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Puts our Madrid game in a different light. I was thinking that it would be acceptable to loose at the Bernabau as long as we qualify and we might be ready to compete in the knockout stages. Given that team made the Spanish rags look ordinary and Pep record against them, I'm revising my assessment of the damage we could inflict on them.

Interesting that SLY are saying Arsenal are still four points clear, but are refusing to acknowledge that the next time they run out, which will be against arch rivals Spurs, it could be down to one point as we play the day before

Yep. I think Mario had 100% record. Mario and Anelka were good but after that…..
Yaya Touré was 100% from the spot n’all.
Both never missed a penalty for City
Mario had 100% career record until Rainer saved one his overall record was 91% 48/53
Yaya only missed one in his entire career in 2002 scored 14 for City 14/15 overall
Erling overall 44/51 City record 23/29 his success rate has deteriorated in the last two seasons 7/12

'lose at the Bernabeu'

Can't quite work out why, but I'm as buzzing about this result as much as anything since the treble season. Watched Youtube highlights when I got home, and watched MOTD when I woke up. Feels both like a statement and that we are playing with such joy at the moment. Maybe we will win the league, maybe we won't, but we have got Pep's City back. While every other team in the league is lumping long balls into the box he's found a system that unleashes three creative little geniuses while playing two attacking midfielders in support at left and right back.

Could see the mad bastard signing another extension at this point, he was enjoying it as much as we were.

There will be resignations at Sky Sports before the weekend for the MASSIVE coverup of them reporting the league table accurately.
