Strange situation. Let's be honest, everyone wanted the lad. So, was he just vastly overrated or have Liverpool not used him properly?

I never watched him in Germany so I wouldn't know where he played or what his strengths were that made him so marketable.

Be interesting to hear what those who watched him in Germany think.

He is a talented footballer but you get a hell of a lot more time and space in Germany and he looks overwhelmed by the physicality here. He has looked better in Europe so far. It depends on whether he has the stomach to fight for his place and put the hard yards in to get into better condition than he's ever been in.
Could just as easily see him taking the easy option and fucking off to Bayern for half what Liverpool paid in the next couple of years.

Apparently that is the first time the dippers have failed to score in the league for 60 games. Massive credit to our defending for that. If we were Spurs or the rags we would be asking for a trophy for that.

I think it was a run of 38 games - Forest last September.
