The confusion of the disallowed goal is baffling me. If he doesn’t duck and it hits him, he’s offside…so how isn’t him moving out the way of the ball an offside gesture/movement?!
I’ve watched a few videos since getting back and Richards has alluded to it (for once he’s said something sensible) but nothing else really.
Maybe it’s best for Sky to keep it as a debate for viewing figures but to me it’s a simple decision.
Don't know if that was the all-conquering performance by us that it's being reported as. Wasn't a disaster or a no-show from Liverpool either. A few marginal moments went our way - if they'd gone the other way it might have been a different game.
The game swung in that five minute spell when they had their equaliser disallowed - a decision I'm not sure about 100% either way - and we scored off a deflection shortly after. Liverpool were better in the second half but had too much to do.
But that's another game this season where we've improved on the result and performance from last year. I do think there will be more days like Spurs (H) and Villa (A) to come, which means Arsenal will be winners this year, but we're on the way back.
And with that said, lots of solid performances, especially from Nunes, Dias, and Gonzalez. Foden, Haaland, and Bernardo a little quieter than usual but still effective. The MOTM displays both came down the left from young Nico O'Reilly and Doku. Superb stuff.
Happy with where this team is. We'll finish 2nd on 75-80 points and give it a good go in the cups, which is fine by me. We're heading in the right direction for sure and days like today are ones we'll look back on when we're back at the very top next season.
Bradley played really well against Real Madrid. I think Doku was just unplayable today.Looks like they have a new TAA at the right back, Torn Another Arsehole
So so good. Best performance in a long time. Top day. And doku - different gravy. Terrorized Bradley
Indeed you will that young Luke!Brilliant performance!
Hats off to Silva and Gonzalez, absolutely ran the show and both have faced their fair share of criticism in the past.
Dias brilliant as well, especially as he practically had to babysit Gvardiol.
I don’t know what any of this means, but I enjoy will my Sunday night.
Probably thought after Vini Jr it would be a more comfortable afternoon. Good lesson for him. Don't dislike the guy btw Good player. So so good. Best performance in a long time. Top day. And doku - different gravy. Terrorized Bradley

He was far from their worst player. When is that wirtz chap making his debut for them? I can see them being unstoppable once he gets in the team
