Defending was excellent tonight. Pressing much better. We were totally fucked physically at times in the 2nd half but once they started pinging balls into the box as opposed to actually trying to drag us around the pitch, we could just sit deep and keep heading and booting it away.

A special mention for Fernandinho who really ought to be considered for the tag of being City’s best player of all time. He is right up there. Incredible, incredible player.

No where near as bad as Van Dyke's shocker on Mertens when they played Napoli at Anfield.

Funnily enough, he didn't think that was a red.

The best ting was how fired up our players were. They played like men possessed. We will go unbeaten the rest of the season

I've been quietly thinking about that and hoping that since just before the Southampton game .You never know:-)
