Haven't read the rest of the comments so I'm sure its been mentioned but B Silva was fucking immense last night, one angry skilful little ****. Loved it and long may it continue.
He was unbelievable last night.

Voice only starting to come back now after a very stressful and fantastic performance - even the usual early leavers around me stayed till the final whistle for a change!!

Wow! Didnt have one pint at the match but woke up this morning and feel like ive a hangover! Think i shouted myself ill !!

Wonderful. Just wonderful. And wonderful to see Klippertys mask slipping. Bet hes a right nasty **** at home

Absolutely knackered but what a result last night, that last 5 minutes was agony!

It was frantic and the margins were tight but the win came purely down to brute force. After all the miles ran it doesn't matter how many half chances they had on the break, they were on the back foot for the entire game except where they were losing and had no choice but to come out. It seems to me only one team played last night which was scared!

The biggest thing we showed was that we aren't afraid and we aren't going to let it go. We have beaten them to trophies twice in the last 5 years, once in the league where they thought they had already won it and second in the cup where they bottled it in penalties. Last year we ran away with it and where were they?

Hopefully the other teams will see this as a marker which is the best way to beat them is to try..

Van Dijk is a very good defender but certainly not as good as they have built him up to be, for one thing he lacks pace.

Van Dijk is absolute magic. More of an old school, physical player who reads the game well and is strong in the tackle. Not a baller at all but so many good attributes that have changed Liverpool from also-rans to title contenders. Lovren is a joke. If they go all out for another top centre half then they will have a solid back four for years to come.

No problem at all with Klopp complaining about the tackle. It's a very, very close one and if that was the other way round I'd want a red.

City fully deserved the win. Liverpool's selection in midfield showed us that they weren't here to play and win, they came to rob and nick. They looked a lot more dangerous when they went behind and started to play but we defended and hurried majestically.

The next 6 games very much favour Liverpool's fixtures. If we're still only 4 behind then we will win the league.

Brilliant game of football by two brilliant teams, not a classic in the football sense but a game for the fans who love desire and commitment as well.

We didn’t have a bad performance other than very surprisingly Merlin who just never got in the game but you couldn’t blame in for effort.

Stand outs for me were Bernardo, seriously love to see his running stats from last night, I think I’d have struggled to do that distance in a car and an assist for the Aguero goal. Aguero again worked his fucking bollocks off, for the posters who said he shouldn’t be captain after the Palace defeat, that workrate last night is setting an example to everyone. He deserved his goal and him and Bernardo should split the MOTM award.

Lol a fucking degree! What did you study, ‘istoreee?

Not sure what your degree was for but it was not for English - it should be either :"but yes I can read" or "but no I cannot read" and your other blooper "tell your mum it is half eleven".

B.A. (Hons) Dogshit from the University of Toxteth.
