Thing that makes me piss in all this is the dippers are moaning they had the wrong midfield playing. Without Milner (the traitor) and Henderson (wank) running around like maniacs, they wouldn’t have had as much ball. With shakira and Keita in the middle, we’d have totally overrun them. We have midfielders that can graft and play the smart cutting pass. They don’t - big difference !

I know bud. We haven’t played with a full clip yet. Could be a monster of a season CL wise.
Think we were just unlucky last season that we came up against a team that were built to take advantage of our weak spots, at a time when they were on fire and we weren't + all the bus shite. We would have made short work of Roma and Madrid imo. We've got the potential to go up another level or two this season with Kev back so we should have a great chance.

Jurgen Klopp, September 2017:

"I don't think it's a red card, Mane didn't see him. I saw the goalie already and obviously it's not that bad. In the first moment everyone thought it was really bad. It was unlucky, it was an accident. The goalkeeper comes out, Sadio wants the ball. To get a red card in a game like this is really unlucky."

Jurgen Klopp, January 2019

how on earth is that not a red card?! He's the last man! And if he hits Mo more then he's out for the rest of the season.

So: dangerous tackle leading to serious injury = no red card; non-dangerous tackle not leading to serious injuries = red card.

Was he always deluded or is it just since he joined them?

I love this picture. (Lifted from f 365). The look Sergio and Bernardo are giving Salah is real ‘Yeah, fuck you, loser’. I don’t think our guys like them a lot, a state of affairs which meets with my complete approval.

He's always been a complete and utter ****, he's just good at getting journalists onside.

The rules do not refer to one foot or two feet but they do refer to careless, reckless or excessive force. Two footed tackles are not outlawed but if you lunge in then you lose control and hence are more likely to be punished.

In my opinion the ref's interpretation was correct. Others including Klopp will say it should have been red. If you really want to play by the rule book then there'd be sendings off almost every game and penalties at every corner etc etc and the game would be unplayable

Footballers have now become actors, trying to convince refs of foul and reckless play with pirouettes and screams.

I think Taylor might the right call on that one. The other big calls he favoured Liverpool. I guess it evened up in a way.
I totally agree with all that Marv and would add, the law does not allow you to jump into the tackle
