It's no surprise when you consider we hardly ever get more than an odd player in the box.17 goals down on last season - that is telling on its own

Can’t see it tbh mate . Gonna be a long season . Can’t wait to get a pivot midfielder with some pace . Jesus is so frustrating he scores a world class goal then misses an absolute sitter but my issue is with sterling . He should not be in the team because that today us one of the worst performances by a city player I’ve seen .
NahGenuine question but is this exactly what we have been calling for?
How many times have we said we need to tighten up at the back, not only with a new centre half but also with our formation.
We have done so this season but the trade off is that we are nowhere near as attacking and expansive as in the past. Today was typical of a match we could have won or lost 4-2 over the last 3 seasons. I suspect that as we are not firing on all cylinders at present Pep is being a lot more pragmatic. Win our game in hand and we are only 2 points behind the dippers, if we had lost today then best case we would still be 5 points behind.
You calling another poster absurd, féck me, you post the exact same shíte in every match day thread, does not matter if we win or lose, the only difference is you post more when we are losing, when we won every domestic trophy you posted the same absolute ‘absurd’ shít.That’s myopic. The missed penalty was one fleeting moment in a match that Pep couldn’t control. But the rest of the match is heavily influenced by his decision making pre and during the match. If Pep performed better the penalty miss could have been a total irrelevance to the result. By saying what you are saying, you are implying the entire match is set in stone, managers might as well not be there. That’s absurd.
Sterling turns to jelly when playing the scousers. His decision making is why he will never be world class. Mentally he checks out when the pool turn up.

Exactly. Guy has lost the plot.Hold on...pep wanted 5 subs per game
Yet only made one against the dippers ?
Pep wanting 5 subs again. He made 1.
we could have unlimited subs and Foden would still come on in the 93 minute, if he’s lucky.
