Disappointed in the end, I felt they were there for the taking. We are showing a real lack of creativity at times and even when we get a gift of a penalty, balls it up.
Some truly mediocre performances from our big players, I'm a fan of Gundo but he was utter pap in that 2nd half, the amount of times he got caught on the ball or just plain lost it.
Sterling, offered nothing for 95% of that match, couldn't beat anybody with the ball, takes too long in the box. Having another meh season.
Kev was disappointing as well, got an assist obviously for the goal but his passing and decision making was off throughout.
Torres was utterly anonymous and offered nothing defensively in his short spell on the pitch.
Pretty solid at the back which is very encouraging, they didn't score from open play and the back 4 worked their socks off.
We did very well to play ourselves back into that match after a poor start and I felt we should have gambled and gone on to try and win it.

Given how big a part penalties are playing this season we need to start practising them in training. And if we already do, then we need to start practising them a lot more.

I never ever expect Ederson to save them, and it's a total toss of a coin if we will score them. That was the difference today and it will be again. A team that is this poor at penalties will never win anything.

if they are fucked then why not use the subs? Especially when Pep was moaning about not being able to use 5 and we are constantly getting muscle injuries

I see it like this - if we keep clean sheets we'll win pretty much every game because we almost always score.

Previously it's always been a case of "we'll outscore everyone" but that wont wash forever.

I like this new approach.

Usual boring performance. Again we all called it prior with him picking the slowest midfield duo in the world against one of the best pressing team. If I was an opposition player I would love playing against this limp city team.
Useless as ever up front also, just saw highlights of FA cup games with 8th tier teams putting away penalty after penalty in shoot outs yet we have players who cannot even hit the target.
Personally think Peps tactics are now outdated, it’s all about pace and power now where we are technical But slow as fuck. We have not bought well for a number of years and this team is top 6 quality only, it would not surprise me if we did not get top 4.
his passion has gone, wrong team selections and baffling use of subs.
Draw not the end of the world but Spurs away next and could be even further away from the top.

We are average. Lacked the balls to go and win that but tbf this is the worst squad we’ve had in years. We used to have game changers on our bench not anymore. We used to have the best first 11 in the league bar none just not true anymore.
