Liverpool (H) | Post-Match Thread

Watched the match back for a second time last night & I'm happy to report we were just as brilliant as we were at the Etihad & the first time I watched us back! :-)

My favourite moment of the match was KDB scooping the ball round the corner to Mahrez in the lead up to the Alvarez equaliser. Only Super Kev could've done that.

His speed of thought & accurate scoop completely wrong-footed Henderson & Robertson, & it was sheer perfection from Mahrez to Gundog onto Jack for Alvarez to score.

The three points were crucial, but it was the manner of the victory which speaks volumes. We've got zero wriggle room left & have to keep our pedal to the metal until the end if the season.

Still buzzing! :-)
My missus favourite part was watching ‘Eddie kicking a can down the road’ ( her words) during the build up for our 4th.

He actually did it 3 times during that passage of play.

Another thing. We were called up for offside immediately by the linesman. Liverpool were allowed to carry on until the action had ended. Not saying our calls were wrong but why the two different interpretation of the law in one game?

If you mean our offside in the first half then I've not seen it again and couldn't possibly tell from my seat in the north east corner.
In theory, and I stress this is a theory as the PL and their PiGMOL puppets do whatever they want, the assistant should only flag if the offside is obvious and the receiving player is the only attacking player who can play the ball.
If the ref agrees he blows the whistle, otherwise the players keep going.
There was a game a few years ago, possibly Blades v Barcodes when the assistant flagged and the defenders stopped, but the attacking team carried on and put the ball in the net. VAR deemed it onside so the goal was awarded.

Loyal fans who "can't get a ticket" to any game, but the good new is there is no screen test needed for these lot.
Even City Xtra? They've been to games, the Dortmund away this season
