Liverpool (H) | Post-Match Thread

I was at the game so haven’t seen the replays. I thought Rodri was a bit fortunate to avoid a second yellow card. It didn’t look a whole lot different to the foul he got the original yellow for. What does everyone else think.

Worse tackles don't get a yellow card because they're not "Stopping a promising attack". Dragging a player back who's gone past you in midfield is more likely to get a YC than carting someone going nowhere.

Lest we forget:

Yeah I thought it was borderline, and wasn’t as much of a tug as the first. Probably lucky that he’d just given him the first. However, Fabinho, Gakpo should have had yellows as well.

I’d have also given one to that twat Henderson for that dive in his own box. Literally cannot stand him or Trent, always running up to the ref shouting like the jumped up inhaleroid bin dippers they are.

Have they started to turn on Klopp or are they—as usual—too prideful to admit they were wrong to still be backing him to turn things around?
No. He's got a lot of credit in the bank. FSG have tied his hands behind his back, not allowing him to buy players while City can buy who they want

Have the Club apologised for the Slippy G song that got a good airing?
I think it’s important that the club should apologise for singing “stand up for the champions” too. It was extremely hurtful for many Liverpool fans when we won the league in 7 minutes in 2022, and we need to be sensitive to that.
