I have a feeling pep might pick Mahrez too. Similar to Anfield, we will look for possession over penetration. Sane is a gambler in the final third and can cause turn overs. I’d love us to go with sane and sterling but I can see pep going with Mahrez with silva & Bernardo in the middle.

We might not get many chances to score,mahrez is currently not on the right mindset to pass it,sane and raz will keep them occupied and fast counter attacks with those 2 on the same wavelength will get us goals,it get proved over and over again those 2 give us the best balance and they both can get back as they are fast,if we defend as a team let them worry about us,we are the home team and champions,changing the balance has not served us well before

Highly unlikely imo.

One of the dippers main threats are their full backs not only regarding overlaps but also via their diagonal ‘over the top to run onto’ long balls.

Sane and Sterling should give them too much to think about defensively and nullify their threat nicely.

With Liverpools pace in wide areas I'd be very surprised if Walker and Danilo wasn't full backs and sterling and sane were not the attacking wide players.

Don’t think he trained yesterday, so if he wasn’t involved today then it’s looking unlikely that he’ll be available on Thursday. Don’t think any pictures from today’s session have been released yet though. Fingers crossed, but got a bad feeling about it.

Got information yesterday that he wasn't involved , Was hoping he'd be with the rest of the first team but haven't heard anything yet which is unusual. To be honest it's not looking likely he'll play any part. Just our luck with injuries the season! Cheers ric
