Pep's team talk must include the line " when Salah goes after our left back show him wide, he will always look to cut inside "
It amazes me how many times teams allow Salah to turn inside the fullback. Laporte needs to be ready to double up on the left side when required.

It’s “FIGHT ’TIL THE END”!
It wasn't mine pal I nicked it off Google but I could find who done it and pass on the mistake.
Should I address you as Mr psychedelic or Mr picky or Mr Meldrew? ;)

Go on - explain
Pep's system itself is more mentally taxing, that wasn't to say their players are dumb, Liverpool know how to press as a team and to counter as well as anyone.

Simply put, we have so many different ways of setting up because Pep is constantly challenging them(different formations, different positions, different tactics). You can see by the way we attack, Liverpool like to counter because they can rely on pure pace and instinct in those situations. We are comfortable going against teams with 10 men behind the ball, patiently probing and working out their weaknesses, Pep has said it himself he shows them the way but they still have to think on their feet.

I don't see much of chess match when I watch Liverpool play but what they do is working out very well for them regardless, the point was to use our strengths against them rather than play into their hands.

Everytime we played pool recently it seems we’ve played into their hand, That being said fuck what I wrote. The crowd is gonna be immense today...if it’s anything like what our away fans pulled last game then it’ll be a huge boost! Cmon blues we should fear Not one club in the world!

Anyone see the sky feature from our dressing room before? Had shirts hanging up behind the presenter and De Bruynes was there, sane, sterling but also gundogans! :-s also had stones, kompany and otamendis as well so hopefully a mind game plan! Pep does like gundogan though but with options like David Silva, Bernardo silva and De Bruyne surely he wouldn’t start gundogan!?

lets hope manchester city turn up and show the world why we are the best team in england and champions 100 points 106 goals and we just blow teams away, also lets hope the ref lets us play our game and not flash the cards early doors, been digging up some of the premier league big games vs man city over the last 4 or 5 seasons and every one have seen the ref control the game and flash the cards about stopping us play our game and it got under the skins of the players and we lost control

so we know the officials are under orders from the top and its clear from the horses mouth richard scudamore that he does not want city to win the league again and liverpool have been the golden egg with united miles away and then liverpool picking up soft from mo salah and the blind eye in games and the media also letting sane get away with red cards and just brushed under the carpet

so manchester city have to be right on our game tonight and don't let the officials get in the game, take most of our chances and send them home with nothing
I have seen this misunderstanding of Scudamore's comments before and I'm not sure why nobody has bothered providing clarification. He said they would rather not have a team run away with the title and would prefer a situation where up until the final match of the season nobody is sure where the title goes. Surely that makes sense. If the officials have been ordered (as you claim), surely that should favour City as they won't want Liverpool running away with the title.
