Gundogan will play further forward I’m sure. I think he has been pretty good overall recently. I would prefer Foden to play central as I don’t think he will be as effective out wide. Personally I would have had B Silva in and Rodri out but its not a bad line up. Huge game for Garcia this one. Doesn’t get any harder then this.

Anyone else think there’s a funky formation coming? Maybe Jesus on the left as a wide striker & do a number on Robertson ,Raz on the right occupying Trent and Phil providing a bit of penetration through the middle & putting the squeeze on Van Dijk
Erotic prose in the football forum is a bannable offence, mate.

It’s good to see Foden and Garcia but I have real concerns that Gundogan and Rodri are playing together. When they play together we’re slower in the build up and lack goal threat. I’m sure Pep knows best but they don’t fill me with confidence.

They don't fill anyone with confidence mate and the stats back those concerns up. Playing them together robs the engine room of pace and energy at the best of times. Against Liverpool's manic press, them getting caught in possession will spell disaster. Would have much preferred Bernie in there to give the dippers a chasing

Really interested to see how Eric and Phil do tonight. Great show of trust. Nothing to play for other than pride. Lets go for it. Strong side for the dippers - think they'll be up for it tonight
