Be prepared for their ‘rock and roll’ superb brand of hybrid basket-ball/rugby, shove players in to the hoardings from behind, cowardly **** studs up challenges, bypass the clogger midfield long ball, referee didn’t see it and neither did VAR football.

I personally can’t wait.
Can't believe you missed to 3 dives!

I seem to remember they made plenty of chances even though we bossed the game.

He's gone, mate. In his last game Leeds introduced one of our 19 year old academy rejects at half time because he'd spotted it and he ran him ragged. Regardless of what's happened in the past you do not want Sane and Salah running at a player who can't run any more.
I disagree mate. If Sane’s running at him on Sunday I think we’ll get the three points.

Out for Liverpool

Fabinho
VVD
Chamberlain

Out for City

Fernandinho
Mendy
Aguero

There's a certain symmetry in that. I think we will both miss the DMs equally. They will miss VVD more than we will Mendy. We will miss Aguero more than they will Chamberlain.
Any word on Thiago being back? I know he wasn't on the bench midweek because he hadn't trained since the Everton game.

Heard on Radio or one of the Podcasts (Two Robbies I think) that he'd be available for this one and should slot straight into the starting XI.

Bigger debate was Firmino or Jota for them ... with one in red hot form and the other being a tried and tested veteran ... what would Klopp do? He has never had to make such decisions before, and always have had just the main XI and that's all every single time.

Was hoping Thiago would be missing hopefully he's not fit enough to start. He's the only one in their entire midfield that is able to pick out a pass, As soon as he picks up the ball from deep or higher up the pitch its danger. The rest of the midfield are just work horses with not much football in them.

I think he'll start with Firmino up top just with the work he puts in starting of their press. I can't see him going all out with Jota, Mane and Salah, He'll definitely be more cautious about this because he knows this is going to be their toughest test this season.

I do not know where all the confidence is coming from. I haven't seen us play well for 90% this season.

Granted neither have they, so it's an even game in my eyes. With luck it the refs ( hope not) deciding it.

But I'm optimistic we'd be the luckier team.

The confidence is coming from the fact we can now field a defence any team would be proud of,one which provides stability and reassurance throughout the team.If Pep selects the forwards who put a shift in,then i can't see us coming away with anything less than 3 points.

I hope we stink the living shit outta the game & win 1-0 some proper shit-housery to leave the rest of football wandering wtf ?
