Wore my City hoodie into town earlier ( Cardiff), it's dipper central.
Had a few comments as i walked around, the usual "wankers" said as i walked past.
Had a chat to a couple of Liverpool fans whilst having coffee at the Hayes Island & couldn't believe just how confident they were, no doubts at all.
I started off by being a bit understated & saying the game could go either way, not a lot between the sides but after their complete confidence in winning tomorrow and how they are much the better side, i couldn't stop myself laughing and saying "we'll batter you, we're just much better than you".
Fcuk me, they reacted as if i'd said something so imcomprehensible that i should be locked up.
Why the fuck are they so confident & refuse to even admit it could go either way.
Weird cunts
Bravado.

Changed my mind since the original post, expecting the XI to be:

---------------Ederson
Walker---Stones---Dias---Cancelo
----------------Rodri
------Bernado------Gundogan
Mahrez--------KDB----------Foden

I think Pep will pick a team that values possession and dominates the ball.

I thought no Gundogan originally but I think he'll pick him.

I actually think Mahrez is the most questionable as he didn't start the game v United and he might pick someone to track Robertson like Sterling or Jesus but Mahrez work rate is up there so I see no reason to drop him.

Dipper i know just tex me saying hes had £10 on them to win 1-4 at 120-1 told him he could of just give me the tenner!:))
Seriously though scousers are proper confident for a few goals i reckon because of whats at stake it will be a close game.

I’m guessing the Mahrez will start because he rarely loses possession and he’s the best we have at receiving a long pass out to the right wing, so forces their defence to stay stretched fully across the pitch while we overload on our left.
He’s also got a wicked shot on him off that left foot when cutting in and he’s having an exceptional season.
I’d personally prefer to see a proper workhorse on the right to start, Jesus or Foden, and then have Mahrez come on after 60 minutes to do his thing against a knackered defence.
But, hey, who knows(?) and I won’t have a care as to who did or didn’t start if we take 3 points.

If we win, we are 4 points clear and we have to drop points in 2 games for them to win the league provided that they win all of their remaining games. Could happen but unlikely.

If we draw, we stay 1 point clear meaning that the title is in our hands and they need us to trip up at some point whilst winning all of their remaining games.

If we lose, it’s still not over for us. They only have to mess up once to put us back on top. Different teams, different times and different context but when we lost 3-2 in 2014 they thought they’d won it and look how that turned out.
Great post

Are you a professional sportsman, that's the question!

An elite athlete fuels all the time, calories far in excess of your average care bear, with specific windows the top clubs demand.

I don't think we can rely on a tactical Ramadan for this one, unfortunately.

I anticipate Liverpool and any other club with Muslim players (including City) might have this under control.

I think all of you are right here. Anyone who’s done an intermittent fasting diet knows you can go ages and after a few days your body adapts, even feels better - especially during exercise.

However Muslims don’t do it all the time, they do it for a few weeks a year and it definitely does effect them - there’s been enough interviews where they talk about it.

However it’s been a couple of weeks now so they should be getting into the swing of it and adapting so I don’t think it will help on Sunday.

Two against one. They're good at that.

Id prefer foden. He has good control too and robertson is shit scared of him
