I think we’ll know a bit more about where we are this season after tomorrow. Thought Villa was a big test for us but the injury to Nico led to a poor team selection. We were much better against Bournemouth. Hopefully we’re starting to see this season’s team emerge. Great to see Foden finding his form.

They seem to be through their own poor spell. That said they don’t look as sharp as last season. Wirtz hasn’t quite hit his straps so far, typical city has me worried about him tomorrow.

If O’Reilly plays it’s a big test against Salah.

If we’re at our best and feed Haaland, we have more than enough to win. Let’s just hope we see the best of us tomorrow.

I think the game has become a must not lose after today’s result at Sunderland. I thought it would have been a must win had Arsenal won.

I think it will be a tough game. They look back on it but we are playing well at home.

Considering where both teams are both will be happy with a draw. I can see a potential basketball game but that depends if either side has the cajones at this stage in the season. Very interesting considering arsenal's result earlier.

I think you're probably right. However, as good as Savinho played last game, I think Cherki offers a better counter-attacking option. His first instinct is to move it forward and then look for a pass into the box.

Scousers to ruin the remembrance silence, which gets the crowd fired up (not that we need to for this one) and smash the fuckers in first 10. If we can get an early goal or two I can see them folding. Van dyke in his prime would probably negate the Haaland threat but a 34 year old one is going to struggle.

I don't think he was that good in his last game, better yes, but that's not too difficult. Admittedly he got in some great positions, beat his man, but once again his decision making and final ball was awful.
Watched Chelsea on MOTD, their wingers beat their man and produced 3 great balls for 3 goals, that's what he needs to start contributing to as well as bagging a few himself,

Yep. Gvardiol is an excellent CB, but hopeless as a FB imho.

Dias and Gvardiol are our best defensive pairing and Nico has been amazing this season and is developing into a great player, but if it were up to me, for this specific game-Gvardiol must play left-back against Salah, with Stones and Dias as the center-backs.
