That's concerning. We need to find out what flopp's kryptonite is and adjust accordingly against those lot.Don’t think it’s a mental block but as they say in boxing styles make fights.
Liverpools strengths perfectly exploit our weaknesses, now with Thiago they are able to play through our press better and more efficiently and with salah and Diaz out wide they can counter extremely well. Klopps style of football is basically kryptonite to peps possession based game
Real trophy though, you know the one they used to turn up and share as no one had to win it.Reminded me of Marco Tardelli , but that was only the World Cup final.
They complain the same about us, though. We're just two very good teams with not a lot to separate us, where even the smallest degree of preparation, as with this or the FA cup game, will impact the game.Your correct , but they treat our games as a cup final , which is credit to Klippety , but they cant do it over 38 games.
Always the same pattern: dippers start at 150% and aggressive pressure hoping to score and defend the lead.
Although still quite rusty we nearly managed to not concede in the 1st 60 minutes. The goal was lazy defending vs a top side by our whole team and inviting top players to finish is just not acceptable.
After the hour mark dippers always nearly collapse and can't high press anymore. We had more space but didn't take or chances and lost on a stupid penalty (the rule is just nonsense, Pawson didn't have a choice) and on the break.
Next time we'll meet will be different I think.
So no CS then. Good game to watch though and great atmosphere.
That would take a very long time, to show all the penalties City should have awarded in their favour each season that are ignored. Maybe even as long as the time to show all the penalties LiVARpool should have given against them that are ignored. They are very quick to give penalties against City and in favour of LiVARpool though. From today? Or every season?
Season starts next week not SeptemberNot seen much of Darwin Nunez, but I thought he looked absolutely superb when he came on. Looks hungry and he obviously has a superb physique. Those bastards always seem to get their transfers bang on which is frustrating.
Haaland looked very sluggish and slow, but which other Strikers have got 4 clear cut chances against Van Dijk before? Tells me he anticipates chances arising very well.
We and Haaland will be fine. Once it hits September he will be unstoppable.
