Surely a behind closed door game should be arranged this week for those not in the starting XI at West Ham? The likes of Gundogan, Stones, Foden, Phillips, Alvarez, Palmer.

Palmer for example has played 15 minutes, surely that can’t be enough even if he isn’t due to play many minutes this season compared to others.

Seen enough from the new front 2 to be happy after only 3rd pre season game looking fwd to season 50 goals between those 2 happy days.
As for commentary WTF was that
But we're used to that onwards and upwards.
Medals won in May are the ones

I think we are 2 to 3 games down on the rest fitness wise, and it showed with everything, even our passing was shocking and first touch even worst, am at a point now to say enough is enough and just go and get a left back and even if It's £50million, just go and get him and get the balance right down the left,

also, I don't judge anybody from today's game and the truth is clear we were not match fit and ready and got what we deserved in getting beat

Some thoughts from my head.

Haaland makes amazing runs, is first to react and had a lovely finish off fodens back heel.
Alvarez might be different gravy, his desire to pass quickly is so exciting.
Kev had jet lag.
Cancelo was horrible - and we need a left back.
Walker looks rusty.
Dias looks even more rusty.
Bernardo and Rodri as a double pivot is fucking horrible. The double pivot is fucking horrible.
VAR is the worst.
The agenda is still real.

Well, played out as expected I suppose. It was really only our second preseason friendly after the disruption to the Bayern game but they’ve played a few. Still disappointing given the opposition. It felt very much like the same pattern as against them as last season. We’re better, but take half an hour to get started, miss chances and give silly goals away. Oh well, looking forward to the start of the season.

Still preseason for too many players to deserve anything out of this friendly.
Dias, Ake and Rodri looked off the pace, cancelo took too long to get going.
Bernardo quality and Haaland will score loads

A lot of players looked off the pace today, which is unsurprising given our relative lack of pre-season. Despite no one really playing well, we still created a lot of chances against a better prepared Liverpool side though. Not unduly worried. Hopefully with another week of training behind us we'll look a lot sharper next week against West Ham.
We will learn a lot from that Liverpool will just learn that they're brilliant. Either brilliant or victims is the way for them

We lost the charity season the Agueroooo season and last season and looked what happened.

Our opponents were not the team you wish to face if your not up to their fitness levels yet

The only irritant is that we have lost to the media darlings (which means a 24 sports media boycott).

Not too bothered about Haalands miss. It happens. The more concern is whether the likes of Grealish and Mahrez who weren’t great at the end of last season are going to push on.
