The season starts now fella. The dippers won't be treating this as a friendly against us. We had a fair few out in the FA Cup Semi last season against them that team looked more of a Community Shield team and the dippers celebrated like they had done the Quadruple afterwards.

Aye for scraping a 3-2 win against a City team missing over half of the first choice team.

One thing is for certain Clubshop will play his strongest side possible as he did in the F.A. Cup semi-final because he knows the only chance he has of beating us will be if Pep as expected will play a team dictated by his medical/coaching staff , Foden, Gundo , Laporte ,Stones , Haaland , Dias will probably not start which is probably 50% of our strongest starting line up.
The Dippers inferiority complex is obvious and any chance of winning a game against us even if we played the U-23 team would be heralded as the result of the season by the deluded Dipper plastic fans. It's the hope that will kill them.

Come on guys, I know Haaland doesn't have a perfect injury record but he's not made of fucking glass. If we didn't feel comfortable playing him against the only club in England that regularly pushes us for major honours, we wouldn't have bought him. Scoring past Van Dijk and Alisson would be a perfect way to kick off his time in England and shut the doubters up early.

Maybe, but somehow I don’t think Bayern would have paid that much more. They seemed to be focused on driving the price down by unsettling the player, pretty dirty tactics from the Germans.

Yep, Bayern splashed huge money on Lucas Hernandez, who turned out to be a decent defender but no better than guys they got for much cheaper. They've been too traumatised to spend big ever since.
