Tricky to know who is where in terms of fitness without having access to all the fancy data that City have. Grealish, Sterling and Jesus makes sense, and Bernie is the fittest player I've ever seen play for City, so he might have to come in with Fernandinho and one of Gudno and Rodri. Luckily for us, Diaz will hopefully be back to his best and Ake is in the best form of his City career right now.
Sterling and Jesus really pulled Liverpool all over the place last Sunday, and with Grealish should be fitter and fresher than the rest of our front players.

Hopefully Rodri has the energy for one more big game, as Fernandinho should be ok to cover against Brighton and Watford.

Last season at Anfield when KDB was out Gundo stepped up nicely scoring 2 and missed a penalty, we beat them 4-1. I think the team was Ederson, Cancelo, Stones, Diaz, Zin, Rodri, Bernie, Gundo, Sterling, Foden and Marez (and Alisson was sort of playing for us that day... he doesn't like playing against our press). This squad is good enough to win comfortably tomorrow.

Don't fancy us at all.

Not in a "woe is me, why bother?" kind of way, I'm just accepting of it. We're knackered and depleted from missing De Bruyne and Walker, they're well-rested and can field their strongest team. And Pep will definitely see this as our least important game remaining this season.

2-0 Liverpool, or 3-1. Something like that.

I think they might be slight favourites.

It's the same Pep who knows better how to manage a team than people on the net. If some fans agree with you about his *mistakes*, this doesn't mean they are mistakes indeed. He isn't perfect and takes wrong decisions at times, but precisely which decisions are wrong is less obvious and certain than some may think. Consensus among amateurs doesn't amount to much more than just another (amateurish) opinion.

If you think you know better how to prepare the team for Saturday or the final weeks of the season, OK, tell us what should be done. Pep might be reading this thread, who knows :)
Hahaha I love replies like this. Obviously no one on a forum is qualified to question Pep on football tactics. If we play Liverpool using mainly our squad players then 9/10 we will get beat. The same thing happened against Chelsea last season and the remaining premier games where we lost momentum. Our squad players did not step up last season. Can they do it this time around?

The rest of your post is not worth replying to as I think you have maybe missed the point of a football forum. If I continue with your line of thought then every word written by an amateur like yourself is not worth discussing.

Steffen
Stones, Dias, Ake, Cancelo
Bernardo, Rodri, Gundogan
Jesus, Sterling, Grealish

Alisson
Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson
Henderson, Fabinho, Thiago
Salah, Jota, Mane

Yeah, I just don't see a scenario where we win.

I think Jota is out. It will be firminho, or more likely Diaz. I wouldn’t fancy Stones at right back against Diaz
