Wish Pep had Klopp’s balls to tell a 2nd keeper to stay on the bench in a semi.

Its not about them balls, its about doing the right thing and principles. Pep would rather leave than renege on his promise to allow the second goalie to at least play a handful of our games during a season whatever come may. I for one support and respect this.

Try backing him Kaz. You never know, you might enjoy it. I remember Cancelo and Rodri being underwhelming in their first seasons with us. They didn't turn out too bad.

i have backed those in their first seasons , esp , ffs and those you mentioned , against the tide , i just dont see the appeal of grealish , never have but i will if he is outstanding next season , for now he doesnt feature in my first team , sorry

Pep clearly focusing on league & champs league with this line up. Our midfield is way to slow to cope with Liverpool today.

if we get beat heavily today I will not be surprised. Just hope it spurs us on & not crush confidence.

on current form we have the best 2 centre halves playing, Bernado and Foden (assuming he's in the midfield 3) needs to be Ferns legs, pace on the wings with Raz and Jesus and Grealish as a false 9 drawing fouls all afternoon, master plan Pep, lets get it on

I'm not too keen on playing Steffen today. I've understood the need to do this in the past and that the idea is to maintain squad harmony/keep a good option as back up keeper satisfied. I just don't think I've seen Steffen produce a performance that suggests he's an especially good back up or someone we need to accommodate and keep happy. Ederson is too integral to how we play and unless we have a back up who can at least vaguely emulate how he plays I don't think we should be messing around in games like this.
