Liverpool pay City £1 million in "spy" settlement for hacking - biggest PL scandal

Exactly why we, the fans, should be pestering the FA, the Premier League, the ECA, UEFA and FIFA demanding answers.

Think the shit they would get from the cult is what would shit there pants more than a few city fans complaining to them. Liverpool have an unhealthily hold of the media in this country they all shit there pants because of the cult of there fans.

Completely agree but I think we should at least try, for example if every City fan on Twitter tagged the authorities I named on this tweet we may get them to pay attention

It's worth a go rather than rolling over and having our bellies tickled.

I have sent the times tweet to the bbc sport lfc and a few journalists not one comment back . I'll hammer it again over the weekend

The Indepedent allege that this activity took place from June 2012 until Feb 2013. In other words across two transfer windows.

Did Liverpool access any information from Manchester City regarding Countinho? He moved from Inter to Liverpool in January 2013?

If Manchester City have evidence as to which players that Liverpool looked at, and they ended up acquiring those players it could be a very serious matter indeed.

They tried to sign Paolo Fernandes from under our nose. That's what tipped us off, apparently.

If this was a tale between United and Liverpool, this would dominate the news cycle for at least a month.

Here's a thought for the day...

We brought in a cyber security firm and they were easily able to identify the source.

IMO, this whole leak is designed as a shot across some other unrelated bows, namely we are also able to provide the origins of other hacks which might be a little more pertinent in the current climate ;)

We should always ask the question who is best served by information being leaked.

A message was being sent.

Liverpool's settlement must also be taken into consideration that it is hardly commensurate to what they would be paying these scouts, regardless of how highly-rated they may or not be.

£1m?

I highly-doubt the combined offenders have been paid anywhere close to that in wages between then and now.

The fact they were not dismissed and are still employed or promoted can only further underline it was sanctioned from the very top.

BBC Sport will not upset Littlwoods FC. And especially their fans. After what the Sun did, no media organisation will take Littlwoods FC or their fans on.

Not only that, Littlewoods FC are European Cartel Club Champions. And they have a real chance of winning the (PL) title for the 1st time in 30 years. So BBC Sport will not do anything to jeopardize the opportunity of reporting on a Littlwoods PL title win.

And don't forget, BBC Sport upset Fergie and United. They won't go down a similar road with Littlewoods FC.
