Liverpool pay City £1 million in "spy" settlement for hacking - biggest PL scandal

Why aren't UEFA interested in this? or FIFA? or the other big clubs around Europe? The hacking could've led to them signing Coutinho based on our scouting reports on him which they received £100+ million from Barcelona for, which led to the signings of Alison and Van Dijk. Those 2 signings helped strengthen them significantly and got them the champions league arguably. A hefty fine, points reduction, and all trophies should be taken off them won between when the hacking took place and now, they've gained an unfair advantage over opposition. Expulsion from the Champions League for a number of seasons should also be considered, they didn't just hack a Premier League rival, they hacked a European rival too.
I’m sure I’ve read that it also lead to us having to sign Fernandinho and Navas quickly and for more money than we wanted and we ended up failing FFP.

Much too long for a tabloid - mine was bad enough. Yesterday l looked at a cast off Sun article about uniteds new vacuum partners. After a typical main headline pun saying 'united clean up' there was a secondary headline 'Devils sponsor talks'. I don't know wgat this sponsor talked about. Maybe who the fuck are the 'devils'? So contrived, stealing red devils from Salford was bad enough.

Yours was the headline I thought I’d start the article, hoping for others to do each sentence.

this is how much it is hurting the dippers - just have a read of these 2 posts I have come across and what they are trying to say:-

Post Number 1:-

Now this is important:
forbes dot com/soccer-valuations/list/#tab:overall

Forbes most valuable clubs in May 2019

1. Real Madrid current value $4.239 B

2. Barcelona current value $4.021 B

3. Man Utd current value $3.808 B

4. Bayern Munich current value $3.024 B

5. Man City current value $2.688 B
So in the space of 7 months Man City's value has doubled and they are now the most valuable Football Club, leapfrogging Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man Utd & Bayern Munich???

Something is definitely not right about this investment! It looks another ploy to circumvent FFP and give Pep what looks like infinity money towards Man City domination.
Just looks like a another suspicious case of the Arabs rinsing their money. What financially astute financial company pays double for an investment in such a volatile industry?

If this Private Equity Firm did their due diligence they would wait until after UEFA had done their FFP investigations into the club...checked Pep Guardiola's work history (doesn't stay at clubs for the longterm)...the Club's fanbase which isn't exactly in the masses of a Real Madrid, Man Utd, Liverpool or Barcelona.

This stinks to high heaven!

Post number 2:-
-------------------

They're actually valuing it from 2.68B in May to 5B today, almost double because a Private Equity firm has invested at today's current valuation of 5B!

Considering the Private Equity firm are based in the USA it's probably something the FBI should be investigating considering it's on their patch. Don't forget the FBI didn't care kicking down doors in other Countries when they got FIFA.
Oh, the sweet smell of boiling piss!

Has anyone asked the original Times (was it ?) reporter who first went wit this story to see if he knows anything new ?

believe me there is more dirt to find on them (liverpool) and this scam they was doing. but i now i think we (manchester city) have something on them and uefa and we are now holding all the ace's in the pack. the so called leaked emails that uefa think they have on city with hiding spending from another account and in some way links this and liverpool scam and city could blow the hold dirty world of european football and UEFA apart

funny how the media went really big on the news that manchester city have broken the rules in hiding figures and uefa are going to ban us and kick us out of the champions league because of leaked emails ??? then next thing city come out and say liverpool had settled out of court after we found out they was signing into and using our scouting accounts hmmm. something sounds fishy

and now this big news that city have announced a £389m investment from US private equity firm Silver Lake ?? why would you invest in a club that will not be playing european football or signing big players in the next year or two ?? i truly believe we have them (uefa) and now they are running scared and only VAR and match officials can stop manchester city winning the champions league

The presence of both Ceferin and of representatives of Silver Lake at the game on Tuesday do seem yet more encouraging signs the City are not going to face sanctions for offences against FFP. We have been sure since the first reports that any evidence against City was acquired illegally, has to be taken out of context, does not prove any offence and its use is motivated by intentions hostile to the club rather than a concern for FFP. I would love it to be proved that Ceferin and UEFA had uncovered evidence that the whole witch hunt w as the result of a conspiracy by the usual suspects to damage City but if Ceferin and UEFA know they were nearly ruined by a witch hunt without a shred of evidence that will do. The point here though is that no undertaking - certainly not Silver Lake - would ever be prepared to sink $500 000m into an enterprise about to suffer financial and reputational damage on a large scale. Tuesday night's gathering suggests that Ceferin was invited there to give such reassurance and that Ceferin may well be aware who the real enemies are.
