Liverpool Post Match Thread

That doesn't excuse the lack of organisation, inability to play simple passes or fight for 50/50's.
Regardless of injuries or players being half fit (our half fit player being the best on the pitch btw) that performance from start to finish was awful.
I'm sure there are plenty of nobs on this thread, it doesn't stop them being correct today.
My point mate is this, none of the back four I would pick were available, our best midfielder was carrying a knock, our captain was not fit, when no silva we rely on Nasri again not fit, there was no center back cover, there was no fullback cover and there was little or no pace in our back four, to blame the manager solely for tonight's performance is naive and ignorant, we were easy pickings today and we all knew that before the game began, if all were available and put out that performance I would be very concerned, but the facts are they weren't.

I heard the team news as i got into the ground and feared the worst. To me it looked like suicide,Klopp must have looked at that team sheet and popped into the toilet to pull one off. How many years and how much experience has this manager of ours got?? I swear a kid out of the crowd could have picked a side that would have given the dippers a better game than we did today! By the time he changed it the game was over,we are actually lucky it wasn't 1-6. We made the dippers look like a combination of Real and Barca rolled into one. I thought the bang on my head had zipped me back to the 1970/80's when the dipper's used to play us off the park like this every season.

I am not a Pellegrini out man but it would be interesting to see what a proper top class clued up manager would do with this squad . Yes i know he won the double in his first season, but i still fear that was achieved in spite of him and not because of him.

Right,i have just wrecked the garden shed so here's my view,i could not agree more with the above post, the time has come he most go sooner rather than later before any more damage is done to the season. Thanks for the double mate in your 1st season but dont let the door hit your arse on the way out.Right time now to lie down in a dark room for a few days.
This quote somes up the night. If I would have asked my 15yr old nephew what Liverpool's tactics would be before tonights game, he would have said "they are all about pace pace pace!" So why does a supposedly experienced manager choose to play a CB pairing that has an error prone record to say the least and a midfield that contains Yaya who is as mobile as the 53 stuck in a cul de sac! We may ultimately end up as champions but after tonight and the Spurs debacle it will be down to the resource available rather than the expert management of Pellers. Time for a change. He is unable to motivate this bunch and less we forget that this was the response after after the Villa performance.......Caio Carlo welcome to Manchester

It would be good if after unacceptable performances like this, the manager faced the press and apologised to the fans and showed that he's as fucking livid as we are and it will not happen again.

Pellegrini and the club as a whole are too 'nice' and accepting of mediocrity or downright bollocks performances. Show some fucking passion and anger and swear this bullshit half-arsed performance will not fucking happen again. Juventus away is hard to call, but the next premier league team stepping on a pitch with us should get absolutely fucking battered. Look at the talent we have in that side. If those players cannot be motivated or coached to not lose 4-1 at home to anybody, then Khaldoon needs to find someone who can. That was fucking embarrassing today.

I don't think there is a reason to be panicking. Bad performance? Yes, for sure. However I think this could be just the kick up the arse we need. Dippers outplayed us today. Faster, hungrier, drilled and up for the battle. But we can only get better. What do you want us to do? Run on the pitch like headless chickens or what? We have a style of play and when we click it will all fall back to place. Playing that bad and still 2 points of the top spot? This is no time to panic.

As for sacking Pelle? Now? Why the hell would we do that? To get who exactly as a replacement?

Embarrassing, inept and worst still entirely predictable.
A shambolic and bewildering selection by MP, entirely obvious we would lose once that team was picked.
If he had any decency he would resign tonight, clueless idiot.
