Liverpool Post Match Thread

We were obliterated today. Firmino and Coutinho destroyed us. No leaders in our team today, no fight, little quality. Just a bunch of individuals hoping someone else will produce a moment of magic. Shit.

Agreed, Liverpool were everything we wern't defensively. Coaches around the world should use this video on how NOT to defend.

well that after match interview says it all.....he basically blamed the players and justified his team selection

dear oh dear

He's the most insipid and uninspiring manager we've had since Frank fucking Clark.

We should be beating teams like Liverpool and Spurs. Instead they both beat us 4-1.

Why wait until summer to get rid of him? So we can squeeze in another trophy-less campaign?

We'll win nothing this season. Especially if we play like we did tonight.

Freezing tonight.... The players were much colder than us though..... Yaya specifically.

Ah well, a spanking in Turin awaits us.
Flying over there just to watch this shit :(

Ancelotti in immedietly. Rather a new manager now before we're told Pep has extended with Bayern 2 weeks before the season ends..

shit and that's saying something snd if the manager takes his wage for fielding that team and setup then there something so wrong at the club

we could not pick a man in a blue shirt the passing was shocking the movement ever worst and the manager was just standing there letting it happen and yaya fucking toure was he wearing lead boots

absolute shocking setup and I don't care about the Juve game being used as some sort of excuse. He has been in charge long enough to know how Liverpool would play, and has experience playing against Klopp's teams to understand how he like to press and play.

He did nothing to combat that and set the midfield up to get over-run and a CB pairing that was slow and in demi a player nowhere near the required level anymore.

battle of the managers really , and ours lost,
GO GET KLOPP thats how to play football !! players not as good as ours yet running rings around us , the manager is the difference
but also our players are taking too much for granted ,not hungry enough ,assuming they only have to turn up to win

This is what gets me about fans. Apart from Aguero and De Bruyne I can't think of any City players better than their counterparts.

Leicester City are above us ffs
Ok, time for some cool heads and calm words.

The prem is a war of attrition.
We do need to address a few things, but they are eminently addressable.
Right now Leicester are top. Not the worst state of affairs, well done them. If they win the title they deserve to.
We are around the right place for where we need to be.
Today we dropped 3 points, is all.
What needs to be done will get done and then we see what happens.
Next game.

Players should take plenty of the blame especially Yaya, Mangala & Demichelis.
watch out - blaming players gets you ganged up on on here. MDM is finished due to age. Yaya is finished due to being a stone overweight and tired all the time and fucking Mango is as fucking clueless as he was when he turned up here.

We have some right wankers as fans, sacking a manager that has just qualified us for the Cl with 2 games to spare, trying to utilize a comprehensive squad with a major game Wednesday. Bad day at the office, get over it. Of course the players carry some blame. In hindsight we would have all played Otamendi but he played miles away midweek and if we'd lost him to injury with Komps out, where would we be then ? If he'd took Managala and Sagna off at half time it would ruin them for months mentally. A lot of players were under par, stop making one man carry the can.

That's all well and good but we all know Pellers will make the same mistakes over and over until he eventually leaves the club.

no the manager takes the blame when he again picks a 2 man partnership of Yaya and whoever - it doesn't matter who he sits in with because t doesn't work and we all know it, but still he chooses that setup. Demi I way pat it and was on the verge of leaving the club, he was totally out of his depth

The manager again thought he could field a stupid setup and coast the game when he has played against Klopp before and knows his style - the manager is to blame
