Liverpool - post match thread.

just on my way back from anfield. Spent zillions on midgets. That team the only two players who are new was bravo and stones. If that an improvement on macinis side. Is it fuck we are going backwards.

On the positive side of this, last two years have proven it's an easy league to win when you don't play CL midweek and your closest rivals do.
You need NO European football. Unfortunately we're not shit enough to finish outside of the Europa! ;)

Very dull game scousers offered little and will struggle this month without mane. Lacked ideas upfront but similar to playing against the lesser teams crowded out. One defensive error cost us but that is how it is. Roll on 2017.

Why cant Pep see what everybody else sees ....Bravo isnt a good enough keeper ( not blaming him for todays goal but his long passing is fucking shite and he rarely saves anything.
Kun needs support alongside him why doesnt pep play Kelechi ffs.
Realistically the type of football he wants to try and play just wont work in the Premier league.
We dont even look like scoring anymore, possesion is all that he cares about .....fuck possesion and sideways passing, lets attack and score goals.
Pep doesnt convince me in any way at the moment...hes just Pellers with a bigger rep.

Some of you clearly watched a different game to me.

A moment of sloppiness cost us the goal and we lost because we had no cutting edge. However we dominated the game and Liverpool struggled to build anything.

We need some more physicality and a striker. Aguero was the worst player on the pitch

Total domination by City in the second half but no cutting edge. Liverpool had 5 attempts with one on target. Should have at least drawn the game....so disappointing.

Pep got completely outclassed by Klopp today. Respected our possession and decided to play a defensive set up and hit us on the break. Really impressed with Klopps versatility. They kept their shape and allowed us nothing going forward. Poor performance from the City players especially Sterling, Kolarov, Aguero, Toure and KDB. Only Otamendi,Silva and Zabba seem to want it today. 1 step forward 2 steps back.

Best manager in the world my arse, everyone saying oh he needs his players in to play his style etc, well conte inherited a squad and guess what sussed out a style to suit the team rather than his style, pep needs to try and deal with what he has like most decent managers do
Technically Chelsea are playing Conte's style.

Going forward the only two we should keep are sterling and KDB. The rest can go and I wouldn't bat an eyelid. Dinho is good but he's just too old.

Dippers edged the first half, City dominated the second half but not really anything up front such is football.
Only read a couple of pages of this thread but I see as in true bluemoon tradition all the flapping ****s are out in force, some of you so called fans need to fuck right off and or grow a pair, the only thing I'm disgusted about is the ****s on here, total fuck knuckles.
Happy new year to all the true blues on bluemoon the rest can fuck off.

Unlike Chelsea, our squad is one that is overdue for a change in personnel, what with declination and age; Kolarov, Yaya, Zabaleta, etc.

If Pep says tomorrow that we're not looking to buy anyone in January then Txiki needs sacking.

Peps choice of full back is killing him and allowing the media to laugh at him and City.

One thing is for sure. We are not title contenders. Tomorrow we might drop to 5th....and it's nothing less than we deserve. We are in a fight with United/Arsenal/Tottenham and possibly Liverpool for the top 2-4 positions.

I've said this to a mate. We really aren't that good to watch. However, we were bad to watch last season as well. It's a managerial miracle to make us look this boring with the attacking talent we have.

But but people keep telling me the reason we hired Pep and Pellegrini was because of their attacking, free-flowing football.

It's been dull to watch for 2 and half seasons.
