Stones and Otamendi defended well. But building up both were very mediocre again. Not any progression from that point of view. Again no or slow or unecisive build up from the back and I keep saying it over and over again,we need Kolarov in our back line preferably CB.
Team wise I thought we put in a great effort after the midweek dissappointment. Liverpool is nowhere near a Klopp team anymore. We deserved to win it even without the refereeing shit we had to put up with. No agenda? My behind. Week in week out its decisions against us unless we lead comfortable. No one will talk me out of it. It's the saddest fact in football ever.
As for Pep, to me he has become no better not worse than Pellegrini. Sagna in as another no risk defender, or Yaya vs a Liverpool midfield, or no Kolarov as in no buildup from the back, how can he expect the team to play his way. I just don't get it. Obviously I think we will be better next year. If not, three years will do for me max. And believe me I want him to succeed big time and I think he will. But so far evidence has been very thin.

Clichy is distinctly average at best , offers fuck all going forward and always affords opposition attakers far far too much space , I'd rather have Kolo play left back and tells its own story of our fullback quality at the club .
Agree with everything except the Kolo bit... He's even worse!!
Even if we only buy two top class full backs this summer, we'll make big steps forward. Those positions are clearly the major weak links in the team

We were awfully unlucky today but to be fair they could have scored a few as well.
Biggest thing for me is that I think we have the players for a really really decent counter attacking side but we have a coach/club who want to play possession based footy.... it stifles the natural talent imo
