Liverpool - post match thread.

Quite simply, he has an agenda. Against us mainly because we displaced his beloved team (though he would never admit to being a redscouse.)
The worst thing he ever said about us? On 5live - circa 2010 - 'I know for a fact that a number of these players are only here for money. None of them will look back after their careers and be proud they played for City.'
Pretentious lying scumbag.
Let him tell that to zabba, kompany, Silva, Aguero etc these players in their prime could have moved on anywhere for the same money, years later their still here fighting for the cause, he is one bitter Bastard.Apart from us and spurs everyone else including journalists will want arsenal to turn us over at Wembley we've become the club everyone wants to hate, but that is fine cos when we win it makes it all the sweeter.

Just watching it back. The number of times De Bruyne gave the ball away with misplaced passes was worrying. Great assist for the goal but right now he should be producing more.

Just back from the Etihad, some thoughts;
1. We were all over them and should have scored five.
2. Referee was scandalous, clear penalty on Sterling and red for that bellend Miller. Linesman by the Colin Bell even worse. Even regular punters waking up to how bent the officials are. Never a penalty for them either.
3. Aguero still missing sitters, but Silva's would have changed everything.
4. Great goal we scored, KDB looked good with his assist but still a bit off
5. Willy and the centre backs looked great.
6. Yaya a bit off colour but Dinho stepped up well.
7. Silva our MOTM.
8. Good atmosphere in the Etihad, particularly when it became obvious we were being robbed by that bent twat Oliver and his rag assistants.

Overall I'm not disappointed. Great performance and we honestly played them off the park. Future's looking bright under Pep and already we are so close to getting it right and walking all in front of us.

Thought today was always going to be difficult, given the opposition and our midweek disappointment. In the circumstances I was fairly heartened by the performance. We were knackered but showed character to fight back. Both teams had chances to win it and there were some debatable decisions for either side, so a point apiece was probably a fair result overall.

Didn't see match as driving so listened to 5 live. Sounded a cracking match, end to end. A lot on here calling the ref but according to commentators dippers had couple of penalty shouts and yaya should have been off, not yellow. Anyway a points better than none, onwards and upwards

For once the ref got the yaya yellow spot on pool only had one shout for a pen and got it...yet again though the ref didn't call 2 blatant penalty's in one attacking move we had and would have made a major difference to the game.

I thought Otamendi and Stones were both very composed and defended as well as I've seen them do today.
Silva was brilliant as always and needs more protection from the bad tackles he gets.
Yeah Kun missed a couple but he still scored and we would be lost without him.
Sane and KDB were quiet but Raz was fantastic in the 1st half.
Oliver was just as shite as we expected him to be but the twat of the week award goes to the linesman who flagged us offside when we weren't, yet missed the penalty we should have had and all the offsides against the Grievers.
Definitely a case of 2 points dropped again because of bad officiating or more likely biased officials.

He was shocking until moved wide, which was a great move by pep. You could tell he wasnt on it at the start where he had a great chance to play in sane but took two too many touches and sane was offside.

I notice the absence of replays first half when he called Sterling offside every time.

Great game ruined by a stinker from Oliver.

One of the worst refereeing performance of the season. And that is really saying something. Two penalties - one each on Agüero and Sterling - in the first half, according to my mate, who was watching it on Sty.

A brilliant team goal. A fantastic cross-field ball - I missed from whom - to KdB and a wonderful centre for Sergio to put away in his own brilliant style.

We looked much better when Sagna came on for Yaya; Dinho is not a full-back and Touré wasn't at his best. Merlin was excellent again, pulling the strings, but my MotM was Nico, who was outstanding, IMHO.

The new above-pitch camera will take a bit of getting used to, but, judging from the replay of its view, it will be a great addition to the Etihad.
