Liverpool - post match thread.

Aguero keeps missing gilt-edged chances. Need a new (experienced) goalscorer.
25 for the season so far. That's awesome. Every great striker misses a few. The time to worry is when a striker doesn't show for chances. Best goals per game record in the history of the Prem. Better than Henry the lot.....

Quite clear he was fouled. And he didn't disappear, either. Difference between having an average game and actually hiding.

City fans saying Sterling missed a sitter when he had his legs taken from under him!

Could have been a pen for Otter pulling Mane! But he didn't pull Mane!

Difficult to spot at full speed! NO it was not.

We have all sorts as City fans don't we!

And this is why he may be on his way in the summer, we are all emotionally attached to Aguero but Pep isn't. He will be looking at the cool facts of th last week. If we had Lewandowski up from we would more than likely still been in Europe and two points better off today.

Love Aguero but h isn't clinical enough.
Hmmmm. Sergio's on 25 for the season so far. Best goals per game record in the history of the Prem - Henry the lot. All great strikers miss some chances. Lewandowski, like all top strikers misses a few.

Just watched highlights on MOTD mainly as wanted to see the Sterling incident (stone wall pen).

There were people sat all around ne crucifying KDB as he didn't have his greatest game but we were chasing the game and he is so positive in his passing decisions and always likely to create something.

I thought sterling should have come off instead of Sane - KDB out wide is OK but sterling in the middle isn't - he gave the ball away virtually every time it went to him.

Generally thought a point was about right - both teams probably thought they could have won it.

Just watched MOTD and that prick Danny Murphy saying the cheating twat Oliver had a "good game". Him and Shearer concluding that the officials must have thought Milner got to the ball! Do you think they believe the shite they are saying?
Just a thought, when was the last time we scored a goal which was a dazzling bit of individual brilliance? We have played some mouth watering stuff at late but Pep clearly has such high standards that he probably expects the likes of de bruyne/silva/aguero to score goals out of nothing, outside the box, beat two players and finish etc, Pep had the likes of messi/robben who could turn a game on it's head with one little bit of magic. The last goal that springs to mind was Yayas free kick away at palace in the fa cup but the game was dead. Anybody else see this or is it just me?

I don't think Pep is looking for that at all. He sees plenty of class play and great balls into the box and all he wants is for those balls to end up in the back of the net. The least that should happen is it forces their keeper to make world class saves.

Today great play from Sane ended with Silva missing the target with a volley from about 10 yards.
Aguero after a great run and then a back heel from Sane decided not to shoot and in taking another touch slipped.
Kev then in the scramble hit the post instead knocking it in.
Kev then beat his man on the right and chipped a great ball to Kun on the back post and again we missed the target.
brilliant ball from Silva to Sterling's great run, he knocks it over the keeper but it goes wide ( tough one that)
and of course the double penalty one where even despite the fouls Dinho came in at the back post and missed the target.

That's the 6 I remember

Sergio had a good game today, never stopped running especially in the 2nd Half
Must admit tho i hate seeing serg chasing full backs out wide sometimes he's in midfield chasing the ball prob on peps orders? Hes a penalty box striker who should always be in the box

cold hard facts - 7 goals in 7 games......

why get rid of him....? we don't need to, we can keep him and Jesus happy at the same time

If we sell him who do we get that is any better?

If he hadn't have got one we wouldn't even have the point we do

There are some people on here who have very strange and suspect attitudes towards Kun at times.....
25 for the season so far. Best goals per game record in the history of the Prem - including Henry the lot. Some on here believe that other top strikers like Lewandowski never ever miss. They all miss some but Sergio's greatness is all down to him scoring more than anyone else - year-in, year-out, year-in, year-in year out.
