I’d agree and add to that, the Philharmonic can have some decent shows on there. In fact that area, between the cathedrals up away from the docks also had some great bars and places to eat too. Ferry trips decent too depending on the weather. It’s actually ok for a day out and some good boozers. Ignore the tossers on here who’ve never been but slag it off because of a football team. Don’t go on Monday like I did as the museums close. Got 2 cathedrals worth a visit plus Albert Dock for bars and restaurants and Tate Gallery (I didn’t enjoy that - too much weird ‘art’
Cheers palIt’s actually ok for a day out and some good boozers. Ignore the tossers on here who’ve never been but slag it off because of a football team. Don’t go on Monday like I did as the museums close (world, Liverpool and maritime). Went to world museum a previous time and that was good. Got 2 cathedrals worth a visit plus Albert Dock for bars and restaurants and Tate Gallery (I didn’t enjoy that - too much weird ‘art’). Good boozer for choice of ales is Ship and Mitre by World museum although it’s a bit of an old dump. Bold Street seemed to be the trendy place to socialise. Had a nice meal in a seafood restaurant - https://aquapodliverpool.co.uk/.
a lot of places were queuing out of the door on a winter Monday teatime when we went
