Meanwhile the Reds are set to offer striker Luis Suarez a 25% pay increase in an attempt to stop him seeking a move.
Hang on - He's a boyhood Liverpool fans who plays for the shirt isn't he? Surely he's not just interested in the money like our mercenaries.

Came through the ranks. On their books since he was eight. PB the 25% increase is what he has to pay LFC to have the privilege of wearing said red shirt.

Liverpools dream replacement for "King" Kenny says NO....

Their management approached Frank de Boer (current Ajax manager) but he said no thanks.

There you go thats how deep they've sunk, can't even find a replacement who dares try.

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

So they've sacked Dalglish without lining up anyone that would be interested.

Instead, they approach the Swansea manager. Rejects them
Approach the Ajax manager who also rejects them.
Approach the Wigan manager, and hasn't accepted/rejected (that I've heard of)

Liverpool the gift that keeps giving, especially when the likes of Wigan and Swansea managers would rather stay where they are.

But, but, but... they have history???

You can hardly blame him - or Brendan Rodgers - for saying no, after the way Roy Hodgson was treated at Klanfield.

I don't see a great future for Liverpool. They spent over a 100 million on crap that didn't deliver. They are stuck in an antiquated ground they can't improve or move from and their so called 'history' isn't convincing any managers or players to want to move there.A few years back Rodgers would have walked over broken glass for the Liverpool job,now he preffers to stay at Swansea.Says it all.
