Re: Que the RAWK meltdown

The rumours are already circulating about Suarez being off in January. It could be a similar situation as last year, where Real wanted another striker as their La Liga/Chumps League challenges faltered.

Not European/Waffer Cup tied, so if he continues to perform and score a few as well, he could be off...funnier things have happened.

Imagine the hypocrisy that would be spouted then?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Re: Que the RAWK meltdown

and he would go as well as much as the dippers like to delude themselves that their players were born and died in the wool dippers bar carragher and gerrard ( and even gerrard was on the verge of leaving ) their players could not give a crap about lpool and if RM come knocking suarez will be on his way.

No problem with fans who support their club but a club that can only get 700-800 to a non-televised 3pm Saturday game a few miles down the road at £26 a pop doesn't deserve Premiership football.

Simple as that. They've only got there thanks to Whelan's money, not their amazing support.
When a Rag says to you "when a club can't sell-out their small ground (for Chmapions League standards) in their first Champions League game when tickets are only £25 at the highest price, they don't deserve Champions League football. They've only got there through the Sheikh's money!" what would you say to them?!
I'd say to them that we were on the cusp of going into administration just 3 years ago. Literally. There was a team from one of the big accountants going through the books and they said, in so many words, unless you find immediate funding, you cannot continue to trade.

If, like the rags, we'd had 20 years of unbroken success with League titles, CL wins and domestic cup honours then we would have no trouble filling a bigger stadium.

Remind them they got less than 20,000 for a European tie back in the early 90's.

Re: King Kenny will Resign before the end of the Season

They all think he's the bloody messiah!

Their next number of games are tough ones. Just to pick out a few, Spurs away, Everton away, Rags home, Chelsea away then we visit Anfield. I doubt they'll be able to grab some much needed points against any of those.

Kenny can't take the pressure. He'll be in a psychiatric hospital by Christmas!

Re: King Kenny will Resign before the end of the Season

I think he will be there for a few seasons. They tried all the foreign managers and it got abit messy. Hoolahoop brought in loads of French kids, then Rafa brought in loads of Spanish ones. Kenny seems to be bringing it back to basics with a foundation of British players who will run through walls for him, mixed with a sprinking of worldclass players like Suarez, Reina and occassionally Gerrard. Rodríguez and Coates also have the potential to shine.

I can see them taking points off the top 4 and finishing 4th this season.

I think their chances of finishing 4th is more down to Arsenal's demise and Spurs injury list, rather than any management skills Dalglish possesses or the mediocre British players they've signed.
I'd love it if Stoke pipped all three of them to it, can't see it though.

Re: King Kenny will Resign before the end of the Season

I hope he fucks it up just because of the undermining job he did with Woy Hodgson. Alright Hodgson looked a bit out of his depth with that job, but it must have been difficult knowing that Dalglish was breathing down his neck every minute of the day.

You make a fair point, it's funny how the press do not mention that the King was sat in the stands at nearly every game!

Yes, that's right. Before Hodgson became manager he hadn't been to a game for fifteen years.
