Would you agree though that KKK has spent 100 milion on, what is widely considered to be, a big steaming pile of wank?

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

Mark-the blue, spot on, the only thing I disagree with is we have a lot ( not some) of poor players. KD has not spent wisely, my own opinion is we stick with him, ship some of the deadwood out close season, come out fighting in august and see what happens. Good luck for the rest of the season.

It's shows faith that they trusted him with a good chunk of transfer cash to be honest. I'm sure he was a stop gap just holding the fort as he doesn't seem to enjoy management. But if were being honest here Villa were very lucky to get a point.

Uber blue........I was going to say the same but thought with it being Easter Sunday I'd be a bit more diplomatic, to be fair your last line is "nail on the head" time

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

I think it would just waste another season and probably a lot of money again if you stick with dalglish. It reminds me of when we had hughes, fans argued over whether we'd made progress or not, the owners stuck by Hughes which was a mistake that they had to rectify a few months into the season. The damage was done though as Hughes had still wasted more money on the kolo toures and roque Santa Cruz's of this world

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

Fat el hombre I can see what your saying, maybe we have put kk on a pedestal so high we can't see the wood for the trees. There are some decent managers learning their trade at the moment but In my opinion there are only two managers with proven track records out there, and they won't be leaving Madrid or utd to come to us.

Re: Liverpool Thread 2012

Just noticed something. West Brom are 4 points behind Liverpool. If Liverpool don't win tonight then even if West Brom lose to us, the play QPR at home at weeked. Winning that would put them 1 or 2 points behind Liverpool in that case.

And their next game is, you've guessed it, at Anfield. So if they win that one, Hodgson could go above Liverpool.

If that unfolded, I don't think I could stop myself from signing up to RAWK to get their views on that gem.

Hodgson hounded out because he wasn't 'up to the job'.
Dogleash brought in as the 'Messiah'
Following year, Hodgson leads WBA to a higher league position than Liverpool.

You just could not make it up.

The problem is actually, yet again, the owners. They firmly believe in the moneyball system when it comes to buying players, because they see your club purely in pounds and dollars. Things will not get any better next season, or the one after.
