If they buy a couple of players in January, I reckon they will finish comfortably in the top half. That should buy Rodgers another season at least. They could be in the mix for 4th in the next couple of years along with Arsenal and Spurs, I suppose, but I'd say that is their limit unless their owners decide to start spending big, which they won't.

I have a bad feeling about Rodgers. I don't think the Liverpool owners have the patience to give him enough time to fully implement his football philosophy.

I agree, will he get the time he needs?? can't see it myself

Either way it would only be worn by a bell end.

That documentary of theirs made out they were going to re-invent the game and made Brendan Rodgers look like Mike Bassett, not buying the Rodgers 'philosophy' as really it was just him living off Roberto Martinez and Paolo Souza's work at Swansea.

I honestly believe that if liverpool spend £50-60 million in January they might well finish in the top half of the table....
