Liverpool Thread 2013/14 (continued)

Andy Morrison made a good comment during the parade tonight:

Both Mourinho and Rodgers kept telling everyone they weren't going to win the league - if you say that often enough the players start to believe it.

This makes no senced. Mancini was saying exactly the same things throughout 2011/12 and the players went out and won the title that year.

Just catching up with the coverage after a very drunken night and a day of work in Dubai.

Rodgers was highly complimentary to us, 'world class squad, great manager...' and so on. Of course, he is emphasising their achievement (congratualtions to them] but he was very gentlemanly about it. As was Gerard.

So less of the bullshit, please. Slagging off another great English club [and also in Lancashire] is very cheap and beneath us.

We are all bigger and better than that. We are MCFC. Respect others, respect ourselves and move on to ever greater heights. CTID
finally someone who is talking sense

We always respect others just a shame they didn't respect City at Anfield or when Yaya was injured they have gone down in my expectations.

Not to mention throwing bricks at our coaches.

What he said publicly and what he said privately were different. Not sure that was the case with Mourinho.

Liverpool has never been in Lancashire.

Erm, yes it has. Prior to 1974. It is still in the historical county of Lancashire. As is Manchester.

You know exactly what I mean. Liverpool is clearly in Merseyside.
Yes, but it used to be in Lancashire. Your post did use the word "never".

I think united wear that crown.

Definitely!

I think Liverpool were 1/6 with the bookies before the Chelsea game! United must have been shorter than that 8 points up.

And they compounded that bottle-job with their abject capitulation in the Etihad Derby, when they couldn't muster a single shot on target all game, the spineless cunts.

Bollocks, they are the biggest load of hypocritical, dramatic wankers in football and it's why every single fanbase hates them and thinks they're dicks.

I hope they get relegated
