Annual wage €18.2m, €10m loan fee?

18.2mil wages.... jesus, plus isnt that tax free in Monaco? Surely we would have nothing to do with a deal like that considering our restrictions on increased wages this year. I dont care how good he is, pay someone 300k+ and it wont do the dressing room any good. Yaya was fucked of with his lack of cake, imagine of there was someone else earning 100k + more than him.

No, AS Monaco had to agree to abide by French taxation laws to gain entry to Ligue 1 last year. Convert it into pounds and adjust it for a 51% tax rate and it's around £7.28m per season or £140,000 p/w. Another way in which a league (French) are getting fucked by FFP in regards to the big boys.
