Dear Mario

Did you know that during our glory period in the 70's and 80's, that we like to talk about from time to time, up to when John Barnes signed, our fans used to routinely make monkey noises towards black players playing for other teams. It's yet another part of our past that we like to forget.

Welcome to the Liverpool family.

never done this and non of my mates around me did. as if you would even back then.

Raheem Sterling getting better and better.

I thought he was a fantastic player when he first came on the scene, but unlike many he's been able to make that final step

Aguero and Costa have possibly a bigger goal threat, but Sterling is right up there now. He's the last player you want picking up the ball and driving into the penalty area.

Liverpool keep him fit, there'll have another good season. Not sure they have enough other players on a similar level to go all the way, but that performance at Spurs was impressive. I thought they'd get a game there, and can't work out whether Liverpool were that good or Spurs that bad

I can rememeber then chucking a banana at Alex Williams mate

Alex Williams ( in his book) walked out at Klanfield for the second half, City losing and a dipper had climbed to the top of the railings and had cut out a crucifix shape from a matchday programme and set light to it...

ycnmiu.

Yes, he has really progressed. Him and Suarez were electric last year and now Suarez has gone you can see all Liverpools play is directed through him. Without him they're fucked. Interesting to see how Rodgers handles it, as he'll suffer burnout if they flog him too hard.
