Why the fuck do these fucking cunts need more seats? Analfields always fucking empty.

Whilst this is incorrect, it it worthwhile making the point that this complete giant of European football, whose supporters (on RAWK at least) seem to take such delight in deriding our crowds, haven't had a home attendance over 45,000 in around two decades. The whole basis for their derision is based solely on the unproven assumption that they'd be able to get bigger crowds than us if their board had the bottle and vision to test this theory out. Which they haven't.

For two decades.

The fact that those making the most noise on this have probably never been to Anfield makes it even more comical.

They are convinced we have never had a sell out crowd at the Etihad and Mansour buys thousands of tickets each week at inflated prices as a way around FFP. To them this is the only logical answer for the "swathes of empty blue seats" at every single home game.

By the way did you know Anfield is a former (temporary) home ground of the Rags? Friday 20th August 1971, League Division One... Man United played host to Arsenal.... at ANFIELD!

Apparently the rags were banned from using the swamp due to crowd disturbances and played this and one other 'home' game at Stokes Victoria Ground.

I think we were building the North Stand around this time- is that the reason they didnt use Maine Road?
