I was once dangled over the docks at Liverpool as a very young quantity surveyor for having a final account dispute with a Scouse scaffolder. Only been back a few times. I really hope global warming causes sea levels to rise quickly and the vermin race is drowned. I love going on rawk and feeling there jealousy. Apparently we are middlesboro with money - 83k crowds in 1934 suggests we are not. And that new stand!!! Oh my god - it looks like a retro version of the holt end. They won't get top 4 and are fucked basically.

That new stand is pathetic. Its a very poor design and if I was a liverpool fan I'd be fuming at that monstrosity going up. The plans for the anfield road stand isn't much better. That Stanley park design would of been the best stadium in Europe by a mile, unlucky dippers.
Agree with you 100% that stand is shite .well and truly done .just a shit villa park sponsored by tk max

Still nothing on RAWK about the further investigation into an FFP breach. It's almost as though they're ignoring it, hoping it will go away. If it was us they'd be all over it.
To be fair it took them about a week to get a thread up on Mario's latest indiscretion. Having read that thread I understand why though 90% of them couldn't see that 'grabs money like a Jew' was either offensive or racist.

In the interest of balance, they do have an entire forum dedicated to Heysel... oh, hang on, Hillsborough.
A la carte historians, seriously, there's nothing sadder or more dangerous.

Is there any chance the dippers will fail FFP ?
They have failed, which is why they're being investigated. The way it works for teams that weren't in Europe last season is that they have had to submit the same accounts that we did (FY2012 & 2013) but after the competitions started. Theirs will have not met FFP, hence why they're being investigate further. They will have to submit their latest accounts (for FY 2014) and if those three together still fail then they'll be sanctioned.

However they would almost certainly pass, if they can use the Annex XI rule that allows them to write off wages paid to players signed prior to June 2010. But it's not clear whether they will be able to do that as they have to show a trend of improving results and their FY2013 result was worse than their FY2012 one and that disqualifies them from using those wages.

However their FY2014 results will be better than both 2012 & 2013 so if UEFA stick strictly to their guidelines, they'll probably fail. But if UEFA decide that an improved result in 2014 is sufficient to allow them to use the Annex XI provision, then they might well get through.

thanks for that
but surely that is what did for City wasn't it not being allowed to use the wages write off? and even a bunch of cheating twats like UEFA can't ignore that especially with the impending court case
Having read the UEFA statement, it looks like they've submitted their FY2014 accounts and have still failed. So 'further investigation' could mean whether they're able to use the Annex XI exemption or, hopefully, they can't and UEFA are now talking about sanctions. I suspect, if that's the case, RAWK will quickly and seamlessly change the tune on FFP, in the best traditions of the Ministry of Truth.

I note an Arsenal collaborator has weighed in with his tiresome and hypocritical musings. He should look at is own club's role in acting as a catalyst for the likes of Abramovich and Mansour to wade into the English game. For clubs that have such "history" they have a proliferation of supporters who display discernibly scant knowledge of the finer points of that narrative beyond what years their clubs won certain trophies in.

Part timers.
