To be fair it took them about a week to get a thread up on Mario's latest indiscretion. Having read that thread I understand why though 90% of them couldn't see that 'grabs money like a Jew' was either offensive or racist.

and in keeping with RAWK tradition, the thread is now locked.

Why does Rodgers say stuff like "they were magnificent" (after a home 1-0 win vs stoke) or "they've been brilliant the past few weeks, can't ask any more of them" (after a 0-0 draw at home on the same day that Arsenal and Spurs dropped points"?

I know we overachieved last year but this is a worryingly Hodgson-esque downgrading of ambition.

Why not say something like "We are looking more solid than were we were a few weeks ago, but not yet where we want to be, and today's result is a hiccup--credit to Sunderland for defending well--but we need to be back where we expect three points against any team at home". That's grounded in reality, gracious, and still gives your players credit for improving. I don't buy that you have to be all pollyana to protect your players.

Shocking atmosphere at Anfield yesterday....the only noise was coming permanently from my lot.
I was actually sat just along from the away fans in the home end, but couldn't help pissing myself when my lot were singing "this is a libra..ree"....and "where's your famous atmosphere", the support was as flat as the Liverpool
performance.....
Rogers has said the players were tired after the 3 games in a week...ffs..we had chelsea (h), City (h), then Liverpool (a), in the week, can't imagine it being tougher for anyone....we even rested Cattermole and Fletcher...imagine how my heart sank when Altidore was starting...
But Altidore won everything over Toure..
If Wickham could hit a barn door...we could even have nicked it.....

You had one threat...and that was a Sterling...the rest is way too pedestrian

Well compared to the highly moral, upstanding footballer that was Suarez, you can see their point really.

You can't do anything but laugh at the prick who wrote that. Aguero is a model pro by any standards, he has the occasional rush of blood but everyone does.
Even Joey Barton is a saint compared to Suarez, but they backed him to the hilt and said he was misunderstood. What makes Suarez an even more contemptible turd is that when he's bit someone it was premeditated and designed to get him a transfer to a bigger club.
No rational person could have made that post. The level of delusion it takes is similar to a religious fundamentalist. No wonder people say they are a cult.
