Everyone including Rogers knows that Liverpool are a better team without Gerrard.

He has to show he has some balls and keep him on the bench more often than not.

Yes he can strike a penalty but so can others,

Its best for both parties he leaves at the end of the season.

I think what they were saying and which is true, we clearly looked better than we had for a while on Monday.

Gerrard makes us more sieve-like defensively, and slows our attack. The media are interestingly not picking up on that yet (!) but both LFC fans and bloggers and also neutrals can see that. Rodgers has two eyes too. He would have seen the energy we had with Henderson in the center and Lucas being more dependable defensively. This is completely bewildering.

I thought Liverpool were on their way back. Today's result was a bit of a setback but loads of strange results over Christmas and the New Year

is rodgers just being stubborn regarding not leaving gerrard out or just to blind to see what most fans can see, better team without him now mate
