sure i saw sterling raise a hand and strike a swansea player, in front of the kop.
not a mention of it anywhere today-instead shelvy is under scrutiny for some incident with a liverpool player
ridiculous isnt it? Imagine if that was a city player. non stop round the clock repeated coverage. Sterling should be banned, it was a deliberate slap to the face. Regardless of how gay the execution was it was still a strike to the face of an opponent; Red card.

But this is why the Agenda thread is 397 pages long. The Premier league are greatly influenced by $ky's reaction. If they show an incident on repeated loop The PL will take action. The trouble is $ky will show the Shelvey incident but not the Sterling one.

I don't want to turn this into Ballotelli, but his stamp on the Spuds player was seen by the Referee, after 515 repeats by $ky the PL felt they had to do something and clearly told the Referee he had missed it.

Liverpool have been playing a lot better since switching to 3-4-3.

Sterling has been impressive in the central position, although his finishing could improve he's such a threat in behind.

Balotelli would get deported for that.

Both were red cards, it's ridiculous how the sterling one is going totally unnoticed.

Re: The Red Lion Pub Team (Liverpool) Thread 2014/15

Should the lino send off Sterling? He would have seen the contact to the face, but couldnt have seen whether it was accidental or deliberate.

Would be interesting refs report, if he didnt see it fully he's going to get that much needed rest.

Re: The Red Lion Pub Team (Liverpool) Thread 2014/15

Watch Brendas reaction to it in his interview after . He says Voldermortes elbow will be played hundreds of times on loop by Sky but Sterlings won't be.

He's trying to be an even piss poorer Maureen with his "Mind games" Shite.

Re: The Red Lion Pub Team (Liverpool) Thread 2014/15

Jonjo Shelvey has just been charged for his elbow in the game, yet no news as of yet about Sterling. You'd think they'd be announced at the same time?
