Shush; they like to keep that bit quiet.BigJoe#1 said:I never realised Sterling joined Liverpool from QPR in 2010, I thought he was a product of their academy....
They're very 'raggish'' like that, the dippers: never let the truth hold back a bit of spin.BigJoe#1 said:I never realised Sterling joined Liverpool from QPR in 2010, I thought he was a product of their academy....

Weird logic, isn't it? He left QPR to become the highest paid teenager in English football at Liverpool. Now, Liverpool are surprised because he wants to leave them and become the highest paid 21 year old in English football.BigJoe#1 said:I never realised Sterling joined Liverpool from QPR in 2010, I thought he was a product of their academy....
Both Sterling and Ibe were 15 when the dippers snapped them up, Sterling cost them circa £5 million in total, Ibe's is "undisclosed".blueinsa said:BigJoe#1 said:I never realised Sterling joined Liverpool from QPR in 2010, I thought he was a product of their academy....
Like the rags, every player has been there since birth and plays for free.
Since arriving at Anfield three years ago, the likes of Sterling, Ibe, Jon Flanagan and Jordan Henderson have all seen their careers flourish under the Northern Irishman’s watchful eye.

There's a quite sickening piece by Bodgers on SSN today http://www1.skysports.com/football/...g-benefits-of-brendan-rodgers-early-rejection (sorry, but I want to puke whenever this "man" speaks for some reason).

Flanagan is the only real academy product out of the 3 since they've done what everybody else does (including us) and strengthens their youth sides with the best youth products from other academies.
Jordan Henderson already had England International caps before the dippers paid between £16-£20 million for him days before his 21st birthday.
